Pftt.
Brookln snickered against her hand. The lever was set to the "safe" position, preventing the gun from firing.
Unlike Brooklyn who was finding this funny, Felix wasn't enjoying at all. His heart sunk when he thought that he was gonna lose her.
How can she joke about this?
"Relax. You should've seen your face. Like you just saw a ghost." She laughed, clutching her abdomen, finding Felix's reaction very funny.
"She has a firearm with her. I repeat, she has a firearm on her." The voice announced from the helicopter that was flying above the hospital rooftop.
Backup was finally here, like Felix ordered. An inflatable mattress/bed was laid down on the ground to minimise injuries if Brooklyn fell.
"Brooklyn. Listen to me. Let go of that gun and come with me."
"Why aren't you saying anything about divorce man? Is it because rehab isn't a big deal?" She pondered.
"Brooklyn!"
"What about jail? Is that enough for you to let me go?"
"No one's getting divorced. Just step down from that ledge."
Brooklyn scoffed. "Don't tell me." She gasped, clutching her mouth. "Did you fall for me? There's no way right?"
Felix sighed. "You're right. I'm head over heels in love with you. Just step down from there. Please."
"Will you still love me if I do this?"
"What're you doing?"
Brooklyn turned the safety lever off, pointing the gun at Felix. Everyone on the ground gasped in surprise when the voice from the helicopter announced that Felix was now in danger with the firearm which was pointed at him.
The Swat team quickly made their way to the rooftop. Tensions were high up in the air. Gina and Raymond had finally arrived after hearing that their son was in danger. The two quickly stepped down from their car joining the other spectators who looked on anxiously at what was unfolding on the hospital's rooftop.
Bang!
The rooftop door was swung open by the swat team as they pointed their firearms at Brooklyn.
But it was too late. She had already fired her gun when the swat team barged in on them.
"You don't have to tell me twice." She smirked.
