"Try Me... looks like a lot of people are waiting for this one," Max murmured to himself as he searched for the movie in the app. The poster instantly appeared, showing a handsome man aiming a pistol, standing confidently. Opposite him was another figure, wearing a black mask and aiming a pistol as well—probably the villain. The background showed flames engulfing the scene, making the whole setup look intense. Beneath the poster, the release date was displayed: 30/October/2124.
Seeing the date, Max checked the current date on his tablet: 27/October/2124. He sighed in relief, realizing there were just a few more days until the movie came out. As a self-proclaimed #crazymovielover, he was already eager to watch it.
"Haha... I can't wait to watch this movie," he chuckled, feeling the excitement rise. "Maybe they've already released the trailer. Let's see... U-See must be like YouTube here."
With that, he closed the Spirit app and quickly opened U-See, Earth's version of YouTube. Typing in Try-Me Trailer, he found a 2-minute-and-15-second trailer pop up almost instantly.
Max tapped the screen to watch the trailer, and it started playing immediately. The first scene showed the hero's entrance, lighting a cigarette with a lighter. The camera then panned down to the ground, where water covered the hero's submerged feet. In the next shot, the camera switched to show the hero's perspective as several men in black clothing ran toward him, knives in hand. The scene shifted again, showing the hero laughing with his family while delivering some impactful dialogues. Intense background music played throughout. In the final five seconds, there was a massive explosion, and the trailer ended abruptly.
"Hmm... looks good to me. The movie seems to have a gangster theme, definitely action and thriller," Max said to himself, nodding in approval. "The views say it all—200 million just for the trailer. This world is just as crazy about movies as I am. I like it, my kind of people."
After watching the trailer, Max felt a sense of satisfaction, seeing so many movie lovers like himself. But soon, exhaustion crept over him.
"Ahh... I'm feeling so tired. I guess I'll need to start exercising tomorrow to get this body in shape. For now, I should just sleep."
Feeling drained and lacking strength, Max set the tablet aside and prepared to rest. He quickly drifted off to sleep, his mind buzzing with thoughts of the new world he found himself in.

"Ms. Helen Kingston, I heard your son has woken up from his coma," said a man in his mid-forties, wearing a suit, as he sat on a chair across from Max's mother. She too was dressed in a suit, and the other seats in the meeting room were still empty. The meeting hadn't yet begun, and so far, only Max's mother and the man, Mr. Brandon, were present.
"Yes, Mr. Brandon," Max's mother replied with a smile, her face glowing with happiness. The same joyful expression she wore when she left the house that morning hadn't faded. She was so immersed in the joy of her son's recovery that no one could dampen her spirits today.
"Oh, I'm really happy to hear that, and seeing you in such a good mood has lightened the atmosphere in the meeting room," Mr. Brandon said, clearly pleased. He had noticed that Max's mother, whenever she attended meetings, always had a look of sorrow and regret on her face. Over time, Mr. Brandon had become a friend, and they grew close through their conversations. He had learned that Max was in a coma, which explained why she was always downcast. Hearing this, Mr. Brandon had also felt sad and would offer her words of encouragement, reassuring her that everything would be fine.
"Mr. Brandon, who told you that my son woke up from the coma?" Helen asked, slightly surprised, as it was family news and she hadn't expected anyone outside the household to know about it.
"Dr. Nelson told me. I had called him this morning for some work, and that's when he shared the good news about your son," Mr. Brandon explained.
This meeting was held by Strawberry company, and all the people present were from the company, including Helen, who was one of them. After a short while, the meeting began. It was about software development, and Strawberry is a company that has been ruling the mobile world. Helen worked in software development, and everyone present was a team leader. The discussion on software development went on for about two hours, and once the meeting ended, everyone started leaving the room.
"Helen... Helen...," a voice called from behind. It was a woman who had been in the meeting room with Helen. Hearing the voice, Helen turned around and said, "What is it, Jessica?"
"Where are you rushing off to today? I've called out to you so many times, huff..." Jessica, likely running to catch up, said.
"I'm heading home," Helen replied, her face beaming with happiness.
"Ohh... what's the matter? You seem really happy today," Jessica asked, curious about the reason for her joy.
"Max came out of his coma this morning," Helen shared, revealing the source of her happiness.
Hearing this, tears welled up in Jessica's eyes. The two had been friends since childhood, and Jessica knew well how Helen had spent the last five years. She had always stood by her side, motivating Helen every day. Jessica understood a mother's joy deeply and, seeing that a huge cloud of sorrow had finally lifted from her friend's life, she began shedding tears of relief—tears of happiness for her dear friend.
"I'm so happy for you, Helen," Jessica said with a loving smile, and the two friends shared a heartfelt hug, cherishing this special moment together.
After saying goodbye to Jessica, Helen headed towards her home. About an hour later, she arrived and, after freshening up, went to check on Max in his room. When she saw him sleeping peacefully, she stood there for a moment, silently watching, and then quietly left the room to sit on the sofa.
Tom approached and began to speak. "Madam, it seems the Young Master has completely lost his memory," Tom said with concern.
"Why do you think that, Tom?" Helen asked, slightly worried.
"Because today, the Young Master asked me about our wealth. When I explained, he seemed happy at first, but once I clarified further, he appeared somewhat disappointed," Tom explained his conversation with Max and shared what he had observed.
"Maybe it's due to the head injury that his old memories have been wiped out. They will return gradually. Tom, if Max asks anything, just explain it in a simple way," Helen instructed. She had come to terms with the fact that Max was safe and with her, and that was all she cared about.
"Yes, Madam, I have been doing that," Tom responded without hesitation.
"Good," Helen was pleased that Tom understood the situation well.
"It's time for dinner. Check if Max is awake," Helen ordered Linda, who was standing nearby. Linda nodded and went toward Max's room.
It was now 8 PM. Max woke up from his sleep, checked the time, and was a bit shocked. "What? I slept this long? I must have been so tired... this body..." he said as he got up from the bed and started walking toward the door.
Knock, knock.
A voice came from outside. "Young Master, Madam has called you for dinner," Linda informed him.
"Okay, five minutes," Max replied.
Five minutes later, Max came downstairs to have dinner with his mother, Helen. Before they began eating, Helen asked about his health, to which Max replied that he was fine. They made small talk and had casual conversations as they finished their dinner.
Helen wasn't putting too much pressure on Max, avoiding asking too many questions or overwhelming him. She wanted him to find his own path to happiness without interference. She simply asked about his condition and engaged in light, cheerful conversations. This time together was pleasant for both of them.
After finishing dinner and chatting with his mother, Max returned to his room and sat down.
