After they opened their eyes, everyone saw dark brick walls and floors, everyone was confused, because a few moments before that they were in a classroom and now they were in some kind of cellar or dungeon.
Everyone was in a state of shock or panic, because they most likely got magically kidnapped to wherever god knows where. After the shock partly wore off. Some of the classmates were looking around to see if there is anything of use in the room.
Spark looked around to see if there is any way to escape, but the room didn't have any windows or doors, only around 24 scared high school students panicking on the ground.
Spark saw where Joon-ho and Seul-gi were standing and went to them. While he was getting closer he heard them still arguing about Joon-ho's old nick name.
"I can't believe it" sighed Spark after he got to the two arguing "we just got kidnapped and you are arguing about his old nick name" "Well, it's just that we don't really have anything better to do" replied Seul-gi.
After a few minutes of Joon-ho and Seul-gi's discussion and Spark's futile attempt to stop them, and after he made them calm down, the same ball of white light appeared in the middle of the room.
Everyone stopped what they were doing to just curiously stare at it. After a few moments the ball of light started to transform into something else. After the ball finished transforming a small spirit like being was the only thing left.
"I'm so sorry for the little explanation on our part" the little spirit said with a look of shame on his face "Where the hell are we!" one of the classmates asked in an angry voice.
His question was followed by many more from every student, which was already really frustrated with the situation that was happening.
"Oh sorry, I was going to get to that part" answered the spirit "As you were informed, you were chosen to be chosen as the new system testers, and currently you are on the first floor of the mega dungeon", but his answer brought more questions then answers.
"What do you mean by 'system', like in the fantasy novel sense or something else?" a girl asked the spirit "Oh, so some of you are familiar with the concept of a system" some people either nodded or answered positively to the spirit's question.
"This system is designed to help you in combat and survival, but it was other functions" the spirit started going on like it was already prepared for this "like a overview of you status, a map to the places you were to, a bestiary, notes and a few more"
"Everyone got that?" asked the spirit before continuing "So this is the second combat system test, and you will be testing our improved combat system, and adapt to a new and harsh environment'" some people were a bit unconformable with the idea of potentially fighting monsters or something else.
"But none of us are trained in combat" said Joon-ho "Well, that's the point" answered the spirit with confidence "What, but we will die the second we will get into a fight" said Spark.
"Good observation, but the point of the system is so you learn and survive" said the spirit with a bit of a chuckle like it's the most obvious thing in the world "Soon you will need to pick two books that would help you survive"
"What kind of books?" asked a female student, the question that was on everyones mind "Mostly combat oriented ones" said the spirit "Ohh, look at the time, okey you need to choose them right now"
As he said it, some kind of screen appeared floating in front of everyone's eyes. It looked like an internet book store with endless titels, like:
'Basics of fire magic'
'Basic sword techniques'
'Body strengthening techniques'
...
And many, many more.
