Chereads / System Testers / Chapter 4 - A big mistake

Chapter 4 - A big mistake

When the three of them awakened from their sleep, they felt as rested as if they slept for 3 or 4 hours.

It was also aparent that they were still some people that didn't leave for the dungeon, and they were training just as they did, but they noticed one important thing.

"Hey!!!" screamed Seul-gi as she was looking for something "What are you looking for?" asked Joon-ho half asleep "Someone stole our weapons!!" answered Seul-gi in an extremely frustrated voice.

"Was no one keeping guard?!" asked Joon-ho, now fully awake from the shock from the situation "Hey, did any of you see who stole our weapons?" asked Spark the other people in the room, but all of them avoided eye contact and they had a look of guilt in their eyes.

"Just great, what are we supposed to do now?" said Seul-gi while looking at all the other people in the room "Wait a second, I got an idea" said Joon-ho after he was in thought for a bit.

"What is it?" asked Spark intrigued "Wel, you know how the system is supposed to help us survive?" "Yeah" answered Spark and Seul-gi to Joon-ho's question.

"So there is probably a way to retrieve weapons through it, like if we were yo lose them" said Joon-ho with a smart look on his face.

"So you gonna try it?" Spark asked Joon-ho "Y- yeah" said Joon-ho before clearing his throat "System" 'Yes' a cold voice responded from a screen "What can I do if I lose my weapons?" 'You can buy a new ones in the shop' the cold voice responded.

"Okey we are getting somewhere" said Seul-gi in a hopefull voice "Can I see the shop?" Joon-ho continued, and as he asked, another screen popped up in front of him.

We scanned the items there, and after a bit he looked at the others with a look that only brought bad news. He took a deep breath before saying "I got good news and bad ones" "Give us the bad ones" answered Spark "We are broke" continued Joon-ho.

"The good ones?" incurred Seul-gi "We got an achievement, titled defenseless fools, for not having any form of weapon or defense" "And why is that good news?!" angrily asked Seul-gi hoping it was a joke "Because we get a 20% discount on our first weapon buy"

"But we don't have money, so a discount is useless" said Spark in a voice without hope "So, I got a plan, you two will learn from the other books you have" said Joon-ho, as if he wanted to give hope "Seul-gi will be our scout, and Spark will be our tank".

"Even more training, really?" complained Seul-gi "I'm not hearing any better ideas from you" replied Spark to Seul-gi's complaint.

"Wait, Joon-ho" said Spark as if he had a revelation "Yeah?" "Could you make a ice dagger for me?" asked Spark. Joon-ho understand what Spark was trying to do, he made a ice into a rough shape of a dagger.

After he was done he gave it to Spark, but the second Spark touched the ice dagger, extreme cold started spreading in his hand. He couldn't even hold the dagger for more then a few seconds before needing to drop it.

"Ahhh" said Spark in pain while holding his injured hand, "It can't be this bad" said Seul-gi with a teasing voice. She reached for the dagger, when she lifted it up she also screamed in pain.

"Well it couldn't be that bad, right?" responded Spark with the same teasing voice Seul-gi used, "So this isn't an option" said Joon-ho as if to himself.

"Well so are we going to train or not" asked Spark after his hand recovered "Well, we should" answered Seul-gi.

They began their second training session of the day.

Spark trained using the 'body strengthening techniques', he learned how to use 'musle strengthening', 'hardened body' and something of 'pain resistance'.

Seul-gi trained using the 'guide to enhancing senses', she learned 'enhanced hearing', 'enhanced smell' and 'mana sence'.

And Joon-ho continued to train using the 'basics of ice magic', up to this point he learned 'ice creation', 'ice manipulation', 'resistance to fire and ice', and a few techniques from the 'techniques of the frozen palace'.
