Chapter 42 - 42. Buying a Publishing house 2

A week has passed, Sam has resumed filming the movie, and after finishing up in the evening tonight, Sam will accompany his lawyer Jason to Billy's office to sign the contract.

Sam had previously visited and inspected the Western-Myer publication house a few days earlier, and he felt everything was fine; the accounting company also gave it a positive rating.

Sam examined the system panel before proceeding to the film set.

Martial arts expertise took a 1,000,000 (a million) points since he didn't want to be helpless in any scenario, whereas Pinocchio novel took 500,000 (five hundred thousand) points and Saw movie part 1 took 100,000 (hundred thousand) points.

Sam is currently planning on giving Philip the script for Saw Part 1 so that they may develop it independently without collaborating with anyone.

And Sam will give Billy, the Pinocchio novel to market and distribute alongside the Harry Potter novel because he wants people to feel his presence in the publishing business effectively.

When Sam is finished with his morning chores, he hops in the car with uncle Pedro and is driven to the Sparkling studio.

A few days ago, after searching Sam found Uncle Pedro in his old residence, assisting several locals with auto repairs and upkeep.

Although Uncle Pedro does not appear to be, he is a retired special forces man who became acquainted with Sam's father and worked alongside him in the garage.

Uncle Pedro has a wife who is a housewife and a daughter called Jessica who is now attending the local college.

Uncle Pedro received some decent money from Sam by the selling the garage, but he is a restless person who cannot sit at home quietly. So when Sam offered him the position of driving and being his bodyguard, Pedro didn't hesitate and agreed, believing being Sam's driver and bodyguard might be a nice and steady career.

So, Uncle Pedro is now his driver, and Sam has also rented the empty house next door and told Pedro and his family to remain there so that Pedro can do his work more efficiently. And Pedro didn't care because being a bodyguard involves doing whatever the client requires, and the house next door to Sam is also closer to Jessica's college.

When Sam arrived at the office, he summoned Philip to his conference room and handed him the Saw movie script, instructing him to find a director who specializes in horror and thriller films to direct. Sam then leaves Philip alone in the room and returns to his movie set to begin filming.

Philip read the screenplay for half an hour, and while the movie was fantastic, he was still anxious to see the twist at the end, which elevates the film to a new level.

Philip did not return to his office, instead calling the other two of the three producers to discuss the movie's script.

The Sparkling studios employs three senior producers: William Morris, Ophelia Hersey, and Tom Yorkshire, all of whom make key production decisions.

And William Morris is presently working with Sam on the set of "Destined across time to love you," while the other two producers are in the studio.

After reviewing the script given over to them by Philip, they both agreed that this film had a solid success scope.

Film producers, like directors, are adept at making movies for the genres in which they excel, which is why most producers create films in a single or double genre.

William Morris is an excellent producer of adventure, action, and drama films, Ophelia Hersey of romance, fantasy, and comedy films, and Tom Yorkshire of horror, crime, and mystery films.

Finally, Philip decided to let Tom be the producer for this script and gave Tom the same instructions that Sam had given Philip.

On the other hand, Sam had completed today's filming by the evening and was on his way to the Western-Myer publishing firm.

When Sam arrived at the publication house, he walked straight to Billy's office since he knew where it was, as did Jason.

Jason took a seat inside the office and looked over the document Simmon had given him before handing it over to Sam for signing.

After signing the contract, Sam told Billy, "Let the publication house's name be the same as I don't have much objection to the name, but you must add 'A Sandles Media' at the bottom of the Western-Myer publication house."

Billy nodded and inquired about the publication date for Harry Potter's novel.

Sam suggested while putting out another book. "Let's release the Harry Potter novel in a few days as promotions are already made regarding the novel and I also have brought another novel to publish as promised to you and it should be released around February when the Harry Potter novel increases some fanbase then we can publish Pinocchio as my second work."

Sam handed the Pinocchio novel to Billy to read. The Harry Potter novel will be launched in mid-December during the Christmas season, capitalizing on the popularity of fantasy literature.

The Pinocchio novel will be launched after Sam's first novel obtains traction and the second novel is promoted depending on the success of the first novel.
