Shazam, the towering figure of heroic might, strides into the convenience store, his young friend Freddy Freeman at his side. The duo approach the counter, where a female clerk stands, her gaze apprehensive as Shazam speaks.
"I would like to purchase your finest beers, please," Shazam says, his voice booming with confidence.
The clerk's eyes widen, and she stares at Shazam in awkward silence, unsure how to respond. After a moment, she gestures towards the alcohol section, her expression unreadable.
Shazam, unfazed, turns to Freddy and nods, leading the way to the beer aisle. Freddy follows, a flicker of worry crossing his features.
"Uh, Billy, are you sure we can buy this? We don't have any fake ID," Freddy whispers, his brow furrowed with concern.
Shazam, or Billy Batson as he is known in his civilian form, turns to his friend Freddy. "Freddy, relax. Look at me; I am the fake ID," he says, his voice low but filled with certainty.
The two approach the refrigerated section, their eyes scanning the various beer options. Shazam reaches for a six-pack, his large hand engulfing the package with ease.
Haruka, clad in his casual attire, watches the scene unfold from outside the convenience store. He observes Billy and Freddy standing in front of the alcohol section, contemplating their selection. Haruka furrows his brow; he knows they must be underage, and a sense of responsibility tugs at him, urging him to intervene and prevent them from making a poor decision.
Haruka, his eyes widening in alarm, watches as two masked men burst into the convenience store, their pistols trained on the terrified female clerk.
"Everything from the register! GO GO!" one of the robbers shouts, his voice laced with urgency.
The clerk squeals in panic, her hands trembling as she hurriedly empties the cash register, stuffing the bills into a bag held by the second robber.
Haruka watches the unfolding situation with a furrowed brow. Quickly, he reaches into his pocket and pulls out a Takocandroid. The small, octopus-like robot unfurls its flexible limbs and slithers silently towards the entrance, ready to assist without escalating the confrontation.
Billy and Freddy duck behind a display, hiding from the panicked scene unfolding before them. Freddy's eyes light up as he turns to his friend. "Billy, this is our your chance!"
For a moment, Billy's expression is blank, as if he's forgotten the incredible powers he possesses. But then his face hardens with resolve. "Right, stay here," he says, striding towards the masked men.
Billy strides up to the two robbers, Freddy a step behind him. "Gentlemen, why use guns when we can settle this like real men?"
One of the robbers points his gun at Billy, but Billy quickly grabs it, twisting the weapon out of the man's hand. The other robber points his gun, preparing to shoot.
Seeing this, Freddy warns his friend. "Billy, look out!"
The robber fires, but the bullet simply falls to the ground, having failed to pierce through Billy's body. Billy stares down at his chest, perplexed. The robber's eyes widen in shock, his gun trembling in his grip. Freddy looks excited.
"Bullet immunity, you have bullet immunity!" he exclaims.
"I'm bulletproof..." Billy says, disbelief evident in his voice.
Freddy pulls out his phone and starts recording. "Shoot him again," he tells the robbers.
"Oh, yeah, yeah. Both of ya." Billy hands the gun back to the robber.
"Come on, go to town," Billy says.
The robbers stare in disbelief but continue to shoot at Billy. The bullets ricochet off Billy's body, pinging against the shelves and walls as they bounce harmlessly away. Freddy's eyes widen with excitement, the camera capturing every moment.
"This is so cool!" Freddy exclaims, his voice tinged with glee. He urges the robbers to keep firing, captivated by the display of Billy's invulnerability.
The robbers, their faces twisted in bewilderment, unload round after round, the noise of the gunfire echoing through the small convenience store. But no matter how many times they pull the trigger, the bullets prove ineffective against Billy's seemingly impenetrable form.
Freddy halts the robbers. "Wait, wait, wait, we still don't know if the suit is bulletproof. Shoot him in the face."
"Yeah, shoot him in the—In the face!" Billy says, his voice tinged with fear.
The robbers open fire, unloading their guns at Billy's face. But the bullets simply bounce off, leaving no mark. Billy examines his face, puzzled. "It kinda tickles."
Freddy laughs, excitement in his voice. "This is incredible! You're completely invulnerable!"
Billy laughs and turns to the robbers. "You're dead."
Billy grabs the two robbers and throws them out of the window, breaking it. The robbers land hard on the sidewalk, groaning in pain. Freddy's eyes widen, and he quickly rushes to the shattered window to check on the fallen criminals.
"Whoa, Billy! That was intense," Freddy says, a hint of concern in his voice. He peers outside, making sure the robbers are still conscious, though clearly defeated.
Haruka, who had been watching the unfolding scene from outside the convenience store, shook his head in dismay. Billy and Freddy were behaving like reckless children, seemingly more interested in testing the extent of Billy's newfound powers than considering the potential consequences of their actions.
As the robbers continued to fire their weapons at Billy, Haruka couldn't help but worry about the safety of the female clerk and Freddy himself. Stray bullets could easily have struck them, putting their lives in danger. Haruka knew that Billy had just discovered his extraordinary abilities, and he couldn't fully blame the boys for their lack of foresight.
Haruka watched as Billy and Freddy emerged from the convenience store, their arms laden with an assortment of snacks and drinks. The two boys chattered excitedly, seemingly unaware of the gravity of their actions.
With a sigh, Haruka deployed one of his Takacandroid companions, the small robotic creature unfurling its limbs and silently following the pair as they made their way down the street. Haruka knew he needed to keep a close eye on them, lest they find themselves in more trouble.
As Billy and Freddy reveled in discovering BIlly's powers, Haruka couldn't help but worry about the potential consequences of their reckless behavior. The Takacandroid faithfully trailed behind them, its sensors gathering data and relaying it back to Haruka, who observed their movements with a furrowed brow.
Haruka's gaze followed the boys, his mind racing with questions. How would they use their abilities? Would they learn to wield their power responsibly? Or would they succumb to the temptation of misusing their gifts? Haruka knew he couldn't intervene directly, but he was determined to ensure that Billy and Freddy's actions didn't put anyone else in harm's way.
