Chapter 43 - Chapter 43

Haruka, in his Kamen Rider guise, stands before Freddy and Billy, the two young heroes he's encountered. Freddy, his curiosity piqued, asks, "So, Kamen Rider, what kind of powers do you have? Can you fly? Shoot lasers out of your eyes?"

Haruka considers his response carefully. "Most of my abilities come from the armor I wear," he explains. "It enhances my strength, speed, and agility, allowing me to take on powerful foes." He neglects to mention the true extent of his abilities, including his capacity to summon equipment from his system. Haruka knows that his fighting prowess stems not just from the armor, but also from his own honed skills and instincts.

In his thoughts, Haruka acknowledges the deception. "I can't reveal the full extent of my powers," he muses. "It's better to keep them guessing for now." Maintaining an air of mystery and control over the situation is crucial, lest Freddy and Billy discover the truth about his abilities.

Freddy nods, processing the information. "Wow, that's pretty cool. So you're like a superhuman in a suit of armor, huh?" He grins, already formulating more questions to probe the Kamen Rider's capabilities.

Haruka remains composed, ready to guide the conversation in a direction that maintains his advantage. "Indeed. The armor is essential, but I've also trained extensively to hone my skills." He pauses, considering how much to reveal. "There's still much for me to learn."

Haruka leads Freddy and Billy to an abandoned factory. The towering structure stands as a testament to the city's industrial past, its weathered walls now a canvas for graffiti and decay.

"This is the place where we'll be testing your powers, Billy," Haruka says, his voice modulated by the metallic resonance of the Kamen Rider suit.

Billy's eyes widen with anticipation, the youthful excitement evident on his face. "Awesome! What are we going to do first?"

Haruka turns to face the young hero, his stance exuding a sense of authority. "We'll start by testing your strength. I want you to punch through that pillar over there." He gestures towards a sturdy concrete column, its surface weathered by time and neglect.

Freddy, unable to contain his enthusiasm, retrieves his phone and begins to fiddle with it. "Ooh, this is going to be good. I'm going to record this."

Haruka's gaze shifts to Freddy, his tone slightly skeptical. "And what exactly are you planning to do with the recording?"

Freddy grins mischievously, his fingers dancing across the phone's screen. "Just, you know, documenting the process. For science!" he exclaims, his eyes sparkling with barely contained excitement.

Haruka regards Freddy with a measured gaze, recognizing the boy's true intentions. "I see. Well, as long as you keep the recording focused on the task at hand, I suppose it can't hurt."

With a nod, Haruka turns his attention back to Billy, who stands before the towering concrete pillar, his brow furrowed in concentration. "Alright, Billy, whenever you're ready."

Haruka watched as Billy psyched himself up, his brow furrowed in concentration. The young hero seemed hesitant, doubting his own abilities.

"What if I break my hands or something?" Billy asked, his voice tinged with uncertainty.

Haruka fixed him with a steady gaze. "Stop being afraid and do it," he said, his modulated voice carrying a note of firmness. "You need to trust your abilities more."

Nodding resolutely, Billy turned towards the concrete pillar. He focused intently, his muscles tensing, and then he struck. A small chunk of the pillar crumbled under the force of his punch, and Billy's face lit up with a proud grin.

"That was so cool!" he exclaimed, his excitement palpable.

Haruka nodded solemnly, acknowledging the feat. "Alright, Billy, let's move on to the next test. I want you to run through the entire factory."

Billy's eyes widened, a spark of determination igniting within them. He crouched, ready to unleash his speed, and then he was off, a blur of motion darting through the dilapidated building.

Haruka watched, his senses enhanced by the Kamen Rider suit, as Billy zipped through the factory. The young hero moved with incredible speed, his footsteps barely registering in the air.

After a few moments, Billy reappeared in front of Haruka, a triumphant grin on his face. "I think I can run at least at supersonic speeds!" he proclaimed, his chest heaving slightly from the exertion.

Freddy's eyes gleamed with excitement. "Alright, time to test your durability, Billy!" He turned to Haruka. "We already know he's bulletproof, so let's see if he can withstand some other weapons."

Haruka nodded, reaching for his Amazon Driver. "Excellent idea." He strapped on the device and twisted the left handle, green flames erupting from his body as the Amazon armor materialized, covering him from head to toe.

[Omega]

[Evolu-E-Evolution]

The transformation complete, Haruka stood before the two young heroes, the Amazon's powerful presence radiating from him.

Freddy and Billy thought KR's transformation looked really cool. "That is so sick!" Freddy exclaimed, his eyes wide with awe.

Billy nodded in agreement, "Yeah, that's the coolest thing I've ever seen!" He stepped forward, eager to see what the Kamen Rider had in store.

Amazon Omega stood tall, the sleek green and black armor gleaming in the dim light of the factory. "Alright, Billy," he said, his voice amplified by the suit's modulation. "This next test will gauge your durability against various weapons."

Haruka takes out the Battle Gripper, which turns into a scythe.

[Violent Break]

Billy panics, seeing how sharp the scythe is. "Woah, woah, woah. Are you sure about this?" he asks, his voice trembling slightly.

Haruka, his voice modulated by the Amazon Omega armor, replies calmly, "You'll be fine, Billy. Trust in your abilities."

Freddy, standing to the side, grins widely, eager to see the display of power.

Without hesitation, Haruka launches himself towards Billy, the scythe's blade glinting in the dim light of the factory. Billy instinctively raises his arms to block the incoming attack.

A metallic sound echoes through the space as the scythe connects with Billy's arm. The blade stops, unable to penetrate Billy's skin. Billy looks up, surprised, and sighs in relief.

"Whoa, that's amazing!" Freddy exclaims, his eyes shining with excitement. "You really are invincble, Billy!"

Haruka nods, impressed by Billy's durability. "Excellent. Your resilience is remarkable."

Billy flexes his arm, examining it closely. "I can't believe it didn't even scratch me. This is so cool!"

Freddy, brimming with excitement, suggested a series of additional tests for Billy to try. "Okay, Billy, let's see if you can shoot lasers out of your eyes next!" he exclaimed, his eyes gleaming with mischief.

Billy, eager to explore the extent of his powers, nodded enthusiastically. "Alright, let's do it!" He focused intently, his brow furrowing in concentration, but no beams of energy emanated from his eyes.

Freddy's face fell, disappointment evident. "Hmm, I guess the laser vision isn't one of your powers. Let's try something else!"

Haruka, observing the proceedings from the sidelines, chuckled softly, amused by the boys' antics. "Why don't we try something a little more practical?" he suggested, his modulated voice cutting through the din.

Freddy perked up, his mind racing with new ideas. "Ooh, how about teleportation? That would be so cool!" He turned to Billy, a wide grin spreading across his face. "Alright, Billy, let's see if you can teleport from one box to another!"

Haruka nodded, his Amazon Omega armor gleaming in the dim light of the factory. "That's an interesting idea. Set up the boxes, and we'll give it a try."

Freddy eagerly retrieved two cardboard boxes, placing them several yards apart. He then gestured for Billy to step into one of the boxes. "Okay, Billy, just focus on the other box and try to teleport over there!"

Billy, his brow furrowed in concentration, stepped into the box and closed his eyes, determined to unlock this new power. Seconds ticked by, but nothing happened.

Freddy's enthusiasm began to wane. "Hmm, still no teleportation, huh? Let's try something else then."

Freddy quietly doused the area around the boxes with gasoline, a mischievous glint in his eyes. He ignited the gasoline, creating a ring of flames around the boxes.

Billy's eyes widened in panic as the flames erupted, and he remained trapped within the box. "Freddy! What's going on?" he cried, his voice laced with fear.

Trapped within the box, Billy could feel the heat around him rising, expecting to be engulfed in flames. He got out of the box, but to his surprise, the fire had no effect on him. He emerged from the box, unharmed and bewildered.

Freddy, his eyes wide with wonder, let out a whoop of joy. "That's incredible, Billy! You really are invincible!"

Billy, relieved but also irritated, turned to Freddy with a stern expression. "Dude, what the heck? You could've gotten me seriously hurt!"

Freddy, realizing the gravity of his actions, had the decency to look sheepish. "Sorry, man. I was just trying to push your limits and see if you were fireproof."

Haruka, his Amazon Omega armor receding, stepped forward, his voice now tinged with a hint of amusement. "Well, I must say, that was quite the entertaining display. Your resilience is truly remarkable, Billy."

Haruka continues, saying they have other tests to do. "We're not finished yet," he states, his modulated voice carrying a sense of authority. "There's more to explore regarding your abilities." Haruka gestures for the boys to follow as he leads them deeper into the factory.
