Chapter 51 - Chapter 51

Batman's eyes were heavy.

He was unsure.

The Kryptonite Smoke Bomb released thick green smoke! The moment it made contact with the bald Kryptonian, he weakened instantly.

"Kryptonite?" he muttered to himself, his raised fist now powerless, like that of a three-year-old.

Superman lay beaten and bruised, collapsed to the ground.

He had never felt so weak. He struggled to stand, but his strength was gone.

"What is this?" Clark looked at the Kryptonians around him. They weren't in any better shape - they were all lying on the ground in pain.

General Zod hid in the shadows.

He instinctively took a step back, wary of the thick green smoke around him.

If he approached, his fate would be no better.

Batman looked at the weakened Kryptonians, a smile on his lips.

"In the name of the Dark Knight, I sentence you to death!"

He pulled out a weapon wrapped in cloth. He reached out and tore off the cloth, revealing a ten-foot spear. The spearhead glowed dark green and pointed at the weakened Kryptonian.

"Swallow!" General Zod swallowed nervously, feeling the tension rise.

Countless people watched on their phones or from afar. Batman appeared almost godlike at that moment as he stepped forward.

"Batman!"

"Batman!"

"Batman!"

A large crowd cheered. He was their symbol of hope.

With the flames of war burning and the city walls in ruins, Wayne's heart burned with vengeance.

"You think you're strong?" Batman taunted as he walked up to the bald Kryptonian, the kryptonite spear pointed at his throat.

The Kryptonian's eyes were filled with fear, his body shaking. He wanted to beg for mercy, but pride prevented him.

"Bunch of alien bastards - you really think Earth is your hunting ground?"

Wayne thrust the kryptonite spear forward. The spear sliced through the Kryptonian's skin as easily as if it were tofu.

There was a sharp thud. There was no blood, no scream - just the Kryptonian's body curling up as consciousness faded.

"Good!"

"Finally!"

"Dead?"

"Oh my God, they really are dead!"

The crowd's spirits soared. People who had lost loved ones wept with relief.

The other Kryptonians looked terrified.

President watched from a screen, exhaling deeply but still tense.

"Batman," he whispered, finally acknowledging the hero's strength.

Another Kryptonian fell. Batman drew his kryptonite spear, feeling a sense of triumph.

Clark lay weak on the ground, but a smile crossed his face as he watched the Kryptonians fall one by one.

"Finally, they're gone," Clark muttered to himself.

In the shadows, General Zod's heart broke with each fallen Kryptonian.

These were his only people. But he dared not step forward; Batman with his kryptonite spear was like a grim reaper.

"Wait for the right moment," Zod thought, planning to grab the kryptonite spear.

"It's over!" Batman declared, standing over Superman and looking down at him.

Clark frowned, sensing a murderous intent he didn't understand.

'Why is this happening?' he wondered.

"You're next!" Bruce Wayne grabbed Superman off the ground and punched him hard.

Under the influence of Kryptonite, Superman was defenseless, weak as a child. Blood spurted from his mouth.

"Why?" Clark asked, stunned.

"I despise you more than I despise the Kryptonians," Bruce Wayne spat, his eyes burning with rage.

The crowd was confused - why would Batman attack Superman?

They were both heroes!

President frowned, equally puzzled.

Bruce Wayne rained punches and kicks on the powerless Superman.

"The Son of Jor-El can't die yet!" General Zod thought, watching closely for his chance to strike.

Batman was distracted, and Zod lunged forward, aiming for Batman's head. Batman did not react in time.

But Wonder Woman arrived just in time to block Zod's attack with her shield. The force sent her rolling hundreds of feet, cutting a deep gash in the asphalt.

"Who's that?"

"Another hero?"

"So close!"

Some people had never seen Wonder Woman and were curious about this new savior.

Batman snapped back to reality and quickly released another kryptonite smoke bomb from his belt. Green smoke billowed out.

"Not good!" General Zod's heart skipped a beat. He had almost seized the opportunity, but was thwarted again. Weakened by the kryptonite, he staggered, unable to escape.

Batman unleashed all the kryptonite smoke bombs.

General Zod's power drained away. Batman stepped on his back and drove the kryptonite spear into his neck, ending Zod's life in an instant.

The remaining Kryptonians around the world had fallen.

"They're dead!"

"Batman saved the Earth!"

"He's our hero!"

"We don't need any more protectors!"

"The true protector of Earth-Batman!"

At that moment, Batman's reputation soared beyond that of any other superhero.

At the height of his powers, Batman had won the hearts of the people.

Lex Luthor, watching the Kryptonians' bodies, couldn't hide his excitement. His plan was about to begin. He approached and chained the Kryptonians' remains.

Batman noticed him, their eyes locked.

"That was the deal," Luthor muttered, feeling uneasy. What if Batman refused?

But Batman simply looked away at the woman who had saved him.

Luthor quickly loaded the bodies into a pickup truck and drove away.

"Thank you," Batman said quietly to Wonder Woman.

She looked at him intently, then at the weakened Superman.

"He can't die yet. Earth still needs him," Diana said.

"No, he must die!" Batman flatly refused. He believed that Earth needed no one but him.

His heart was filled with a burning desire for revenge. The Kryptonians had destroyed the Wayne Hotel, killed his old butler - unforgivable in his eyes.

He even resented Chu Mo. With his power to kill Kryptonians, why hadn't he acted sooner? Was he waiting for Earth to suffer before he intervened?

Diana shook her head at Batman's intransigence, then disappeared into the night.

"Now it's your turn," Batman said, turning back to Superman.

The kryptonite smoke had cleared and Clark had regained some strength. He took a step back and flew into the sky with a swift leap.

Batman watched Superman disappear, slightly stunned, realizing he'd lost his chance. But he knew Superman's background - there would be other opportunities.

Bruce Wayne grabbed the kryptonite spear, got into the Batmobile and drove away.

Batman took action. The alien invaders were dead. Superman had escaped, but Gotham City was scarred by war.

President stared at the big screen, saddened by the aftermath. His face was filled with grief.

As president, he had to deal with the aftermath. He had a bad feeling in his heart.

The bodies of those Kryptonians were being collected. It was probably not a good thing.

But Batman acquiesced. It should be his accomplice or something.

Meanwhile, Lex Luthor collected the bodies of the Kryptonians, brimming with excitement over his plan to build the ultimate weapon, one that would end all superheroes.

Inside the alien spaceship, Luthor looked at the seven alien bodies.

"Hahaha!" he couldn't help but laugh.

"Destroy them! This world is too polluted!"

"All superheroes must die!"

"I will create the most deadly weapon!"

A bag of kryptonite powder flashed green.

The pool was filled with a nutrient solution.

Seven dismembered Kryptonian bodies lay scattered in the pool.

Luthor pulled out a sharp knife and slashed deep into his palm.

A stream of hot blood flowed into the pool, mixing with the kryptonite powder and the dismembered bodies as they slowly began to congeal.

A strange stench filled the air.

After a while, the dismembered remains formed a monstrous creature, the size of a baby and completely bald.

It strained to absorb the nutrient solution from the pool, its small arms reaching for pieces of the corpses, which it gnawed on hungrily.

With each piece of Kryptonian flesh it consumed, the monster's body grew tenfold.

In a matter of moments, it had grown to the size of a tank.

"Grow, grow! You'll be even more perfect as you mature!" Luthor's eyes shone with excitement.

In three days, his "big baby" would be born.

And with it, everything would be wiped away.

Chu Mo, that useless Batman - all the superheroes would disappear.

------------------------------

Marvel Universe, Helheim.

Chu Mo looked down at Hela, who was unconscious in his arms.

A feeling of satisfaction rose in his heart. This woman is very perfect, unlike all his other women.

The goddess of death in her body attracted him deeply. Hela was completely conquered by him and fainted.

However, the task was not over yet.

Chu Mo looked at the time on his wrist, "Gotham City 8 hours/54 minutes/32 seconds!."

The two of them had fought for too long. Chu Mo stood up, his muscles a little sore. Even a talented body could not stand it.

Now, he just had to wait for Hela to wake up, then he could exert himself a little more. Everything would fall into place naturally and logically.

Chu Mo waited quietly, for Hela was still sound asleep. He couldn't bear to wake her.

This woman had suffered too much. Imprisoned here by Odin many years ago, she had been accompanied by the dead. Endless loneliness. No one could bear it.

In a brief moment of silence, Chu Mo admired the scenery of the Helm Underworld. There were layers of black fog here, and the dead were hidden in it. The mountains, rivers, and grass were all black, seemingly filled with death.

Chu Mo thought to himself, "I don't know what's going on in the DC world."

When he traveled to Marvel, he left some traces there. Now he is a little worried. But there's Superman, so the problem shouldn't be that big.

Luthor is locked in the black prison. Even if there is a fight, Superman should be able to hold out for a few days, no problem!

The main thing is Lois and Nora! After all, they are ordinary people. If the battle affects them, Chu Mo will be very upset.

Outside of Helheim, Odin was still sitting on the edge of the cliff in a daze.

As he watched the fish swimming in the sea, he felt very comfortable. Just now, there were waves of fighting in Helheim.

He couldn't help but worry. That man was very strong, and he was a match for himself.

Hela slowly woke up and looked at the handsome man in front of her, her face blushing.

Chu Mo saw that she was awake and wanted to reach the summit again! Such a move scared Hela.

Her whole body was in pain. She had no physical strength whatsoever. For a moment, she begged for mercy.

"Daddy, I give up!" Hela's voice was thin and weak.
