Chapter 56 - Chapter 56

Atlantic Ocean, Underwater Nuclear Submarine

"Received!"

An officer hung up the satellite phone and punched in a series of numbers on the screen.

Beneath the calm surface of the ocean, a fiery trail shot upward.

"Whoosh!"

The missile burst through the water and soared toward Gotham City.

Gotham City Headquarters.

President stared at the radar screen, watching a flashing dot of light move steadily forward.

He was visibly tense. This was Earth's last hope. If this didn't work, there would be no way to stop the monster.

This was their last trump card.

The entire command center fell silent as everyone waited anxiously.

On the Battlefield.

Doomsday was in a frenzy, unleashing his destructive power.

"Bang!"

Clark was slammed into the ground with tremendous force. The impact sent ripples through the air.

Even Superman's steel-like body began to buckle under the immense force of the blows. Every inch of him ached.

Diana saw an opening and struck when she could, but the power differential was overwhelming. Her attacks were barely a nuisance to Doomsday.

Overhead, the sky buzzed with countless helicopters firing a barrage of missiles at the monster. Explosions erupted all around.

Doomsday's body glowed with a yellow light, absorbing the energy from the explosions.

"Roar!"

He unleashed a thunderous roar, scattering yellow lightning in a one-kilometer radius.

Nearby buildings crumbled into rubble, and fighter jets exploded in midair, lighting up the sky like fireworks.

"It's absorbing energy!" Diana said grimly, her eyes fixed on the monstrosity.

Clark clenched his fists and lunged forward.

"Bang!"

Superman mustered all his strength to lift Doomsday into the air, rising rapidly.

Onlookers on the ground pointed to the sky.

"That's Superman fighting the monster!"

"Should we abort the nuclear strike?" an aide asked nervously, glancing at President.

The president remained silent, staring at the screen.

"Proceed with the strike," he finally ordered, his voice heavy with regret. "Detonate the nuke in mid-air if possible."

"I'm sorry, Superman," he muttered under his breath.

High Above the Atmosphere.

Clark carried Doomsday higher and higher, enduring the relentless blows that rained down on him. Each blow sent waves of pain through his body - something Superman was not used to.

The nuclear missile approached rapidly.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!"

Doomsday hammered at him, but Clark refused to let go.

The tension reached a fever pitch as millions of people watched the live broadcast on their cell phones, holding their breath.

"We will remember you, Superman," President whispered, his voice filled with grief.

Suddenly, a brilliant explosion lit up the sky.

"BOOM!"

A massive mushroom cloud rose 10,000 feet above Gotham City, its fiery waves lighting up the darkened sky.

The entire city shook as glass shattered everywhere.

Fortunately, the detonation occurred high above the ground. Had it been closer, Gotham would have been obliterated.

Inside the Planet Building.

Chu Mo waved his hand, enveloping the building in crimson energy. The protective barrier completely neutralized the shockwave from the nuclear blast.

Inside the building, Chu Mo watched the aftermath.

"Mr. President, look!"

President's assistant pointed at the screen with a shaking finger.

President turned to look and his eyes widened in horror.

"What...?"

He stumbled backward, unable to comprehend what he was seeing.

The live feed had captured the impossible.

Despite the nuclear blast, Doomsday had survived.

The monster plummeted back to Earth, its body further mutated by the nuclear radiation. Its once gray flesh had turned brown, and its entire form radiated power.

"BOOM!"

Doomsday landed in Gotham with a thunderous crash, reducing buildings hundreds of feet tall to rubble.

His body erupted in yellow lightning, and his aura grew many times stronger than before.

Diana stared at the newly transformed Doomsday, a wave of helplessness washing over her. She had no way of fighting a monster of that size.

Outside Earth's atmosphere, Clark floated in the void, his body lifeless. A ray of sunlight touched him, slowly restoring his strength.

After a moment, his eyes opened.

"Not dead?" Clark muttered, touching his chest. He had thought he had been obliterated.

The sunlight nourished him and soon he regained his full strength.

He looked back at Earth and saw Doomsday wreaking havoc, more powerful than ever.

"This thing won't die!" he groaned, feeling a sense of despair.

Clark returned to the Planet building, landing behind Chu Mo.

"Boss, I beg you - please save the Earth!" Clark said, his voice filled with desperation.

Lois and Nora also looked at Chu Mo, their eyes pleading.

Chu Mo turned to them, his expression calm and confident.

"Don't worry," he said simply, his voice filled with reassurance.

Clark let out a breath he hadn't realized he was holding.

"The strongest Doomsday..." Chu Mo murmured, his gaze fixed on the monster outside, his face glowing with excitement.

After absorbing the power of the atomic bomb, Doomsday's strength had reached the peak of the Heavenly Father Level.

He could absorb an infinite amount of energy to evolve, surpassing even the self-healing abilities of Kryptonians.

Chu Mo couldn't help but feel a pang of envy.

Now, however, he possessed the chaos magic power of Heavenly Father Level's peak strength, the power of the five elements at its peak, the holy body of high-level talent, the anti-life equation, and the mysterious Mother Box. He had countless means at his disposal.

Although Doomsday was powerful, Chu Mo was even stronger.

After all, Odin-another being at the Heavenly Father Level had once been completely defeated by him.

Chu Mo stepped forward and disappeared from the planet building.

On the Battlefield.

Diana stared at the massive monster in front of her.

The Bracelets of Submission on her wrists glowed faintly, but she dared not confront the beast directly.

Even Superman had been completely overwhelmed.

In the supreme command center, President sat looking defeated.

"We have no way out," he muttered.

"Should we go to Plan B?" an aide asked hesitantly.

"Plan B?" President repeated.

The thought made him feel even worse.

Plan B involved abandoning ordinary citizens, rounding up government officials, and retreating to secure underground fortresses - leaving the rest of humanity to fend for itself.

As President, such a plan felt like the ultimate betrayal.

Blood had been shed by countless citizens in support of him. To abandon them now would be unthinkable.

"I have decided to reject Plan B," President said firmly.

"But, Mr. President!" an aide protested. "If we don't survive, we can't rebuild!"

"I disagree!" echoed another voice.

President looked at the congressmen around him, his face filled with disgust.

"As President, I order you all to abandon Plan B. We live and die with the Earth!"

Suddenly, a general's cry broke the tension.

"Look!"

Everyone turned to the screen.

On the battlefield, a man hovered in the air, standing before Doomsday.

He wore black casual clothes, and his upright posture exuded confidence.

With a pure, calm expression on his eastern face, he radiated a mysterious power.

The first rays of the morning sun broke through the clouds, casting a divine glow on his handsome features.

"Chu Mo!"

President's eyes lit up with hope.

This man, known as the strongest in the world, had solidified his reputation with a single strike in the past.

However, Chu Mo had been absent during the recent alien invasions, causing controversy.

Many believed that as a superhero, it was his duty to protect the planet.

Others saw him as a potential threat and listed him alongside the alien invaders as dangerous.

Still, in this desperate hour, Chu Mo's appearance rekindled a glimmer of optimism.

Diana looked up at the hovering figure, her emotions swirling - hatred, awe, shyness, and admiration intertwined.

Doomsday glared at the man before him.

The creature's instinctive rage surged at being confronted by an ant who dared to defy him.

With a roar, Doomsday swung his massive fist, the size of a car, imbued with destructive power.

The world seemed to hold its breath.

However Chu Mostood calmly.

The Chaos magic power within him surged and condensed at his fingertips.

Just as Doomsday's fist was about to strike, Chu Mo extended a finger and pressed it against the incoming blow.

"Boom!"

An invisible shock wave rippled outward.

Doomsday's enormous fist stopped--just one finger away from Chu Mo's head.

Gasps echoed through the command center.

"He stopped it... with one finger?"

"What is that red energy?!"

Even Wonder Woman was stunned.

President, watching from the screen, felt tears of relief well up in his eyes.

"The strongest man in the world," he whispered.

Doomsday, however, was furious.

His invincible fist had been neutralized, leaving him seething with humiliation and fear.

Chu Mo smiled.

With a slight wave of his hand, crimson power erupted and enveloped Doomsday.

The creature howled in agony as the energy tore at its indestructible body.

"Die for me!" Chu Mo roared, his voice echoing across the battlefield.

With a surge of Chaos energy, Doomsday's body cracked, split, and finally exploded into pieces.

The battlefield fell silent.

Wonder Woman dropped her shield, unable to believe what she had witnessed.

President clapped his hands in triumph and cheered alongside his staff.

Superman, watching from a distance, felt a mixture of awe and inferiority.

"That's my uncle..." he muttered.

Meanwhile, all over the world, people erupted in celebration.

"Guardian angel!"

"The strongest man alive!"

"Superhero!"

For now, Earth had been saved.
