Chapter 57 - Chapter 57

On that occasion, Chu Mo was like a god descending to earth.

The arrogant Doomsday had been torn to pieces.

Everyone felt a shiver run down their spines.

"The monster who beat Superman into submission is dead?"

"Who is he?"

"Is he a god?"

"The strongest man - no exaggeration!"

Chu Mo looked at Doomsday's scattered remains and furrowed his brow.

He noticed that the mutilated body parts were rapidly writhing.

Within seconds, they fused back together.

"An immortal body?" Chu Mo murmured.

"Roar!"

The reassembled and resurrected Doomsday roared as his body continued to evolve. Scarlet energy began to flicker faintly along his exposed bones.

"It evolved again?"

"It's not dead yet?" President exclaimed in disbelief.

He stared at the screen, his expression filled with despair. "How is it still alive?"

Fear spread through the audience.

"It's not a monster - it's a demon from hell!"

"I'm terrified!"

"Please, let it die already!"

"Somebody kill it!"

Countless voices trembled as the immortal monster that even an atomic bomb couldn't destroy continued its rampage. Even after being blown to pieces, it resurrected stronger than before.

Clark stared at the resurrected Doomsday, his heart heavy with fear. "Can he still do it?"

Diana's eyes were filled with concern. Chu Mo's strength was unparalleled, but this monster seemed unbeatable.

The resurrected Doomsday lunged at Chu Mo. His crimson aura pulsed, and the ground beneath him cracked under his immense power. The massive figure resembled an ancient demon unleashed.

Chu Mo's expression became solemn.

"This is not the Doomsday from the movies," he muttered. "Damn it, it's the Doomsday from the comics!"

Chu Mo had studied DC Comics extensively. This monster's power wasn't just unbelievable, it was unfairly overpowered.

Doomsday's most terrifying ability was that no force could kill it twice in the same way. After dying once, it would evolve to counter that attack, making it nearly invincible. It could also copy abilities to enhance its evolution, much like Chu Mo himself.

"Let's try this," Chu Mo muttered.

As Doomsday charged at him, Chu Mo held out his hand. Green light coalesced and a massive vine erupted from the ground.

"Bang!"

The vine pierced Doomsday's chest and quickly spread through his body. The monster screamed in pain as Chu Mo clenched his fist, causing the vine's power to intensify.

"Boom!"

Doomsday's body exploded into pieces, its flesh scattered across the battlefield.

A severed finger fell at Chu Mo's feet. A small vine stretched out from the ground, lifted the finger, and handed it to Chu Mo.

He grabbed it tightly as a system screen appeared before him.

Name: Doomsday

Identity: Kryptonian bio-engineered being

Strength: Peak gold level

Powers: Self-Evolution, Energy Absorption Evolution, Infinite Stamina, Infinite Self-Healing, Flight, Super Heat Vision.

Weakness: Low intelligence

Weapons: None

Status: Resurrection

Copy time: One minute!"

"Start copying?" the system asked.

"Yes," Chu Mo replied firmly.

The severed finger wriggled, trying to rejoin the rest of Doomsday's body, but Chu Mo tightened his grip, refusing to let it escape.

"One minute," he muttered. "I only have to hold on for one minute."

Chu Mo's right hand twisted as fire elements from the surrounding area converged on him. Within moments, a towering inferno erupted, consuming the remains of Doomsday.

The blazing flames illuminated half of Gotham City. Countless people watched, their emotions a mix of hope and fear.

"Will he die this time?" someone asked.

"If this doesn't work, what will?"

"Hard to say. Even nuclear bombs couldn't stop it."

In the command center, President stared intently at the screen, his body tense with fear. He silently prayed for the monster's demise.

Clark activated his x-ray vision and peered through the flames. He saw Doomsday's remains writhing in the inferno, water droplets forming on its surface as it struggled to reform.

"There are still 40 seconds," Chu Mo thought as he glanced at the transparent timer on his panel. The percentage of the copying process was steadily increasing. "30%... 31%..."

Suddenly, a deafening roar shook the battlefield. The flames swirling around Doomsday were abruptly absorbed into his evolving body.

Complex patterns appeared on his exposed skeleton, a combination of wood and fire energies from Chu Mo's previous attacks.

"Roar!"

Doomsday roared again as the ground beneath him split apart. Vines sprouted from his body, and the flames condensed into a massive fireball that hurled itself at Chu Mo.

"It's over," President whispered, his vision blurred with despair. If that fireball landed, half of Gotham would become a sea of flames.

Clark prepared to intercept the fireball, but before he could act, Chu Mo shouted, "Water!

A massive torrent of water materialized and crashed into the fireball above. Water and fire collided, sending steam into the sky.

Within moments, the steam condensed into thick black clouds.

"Condense!" Chu Mo commanded.

Rain poured from the sky as the black clouds released their burden. Meanwhile, Doomsday's vines continued to advance, piercing through the battlefield toward Chu Mo.

"Rise!" Chu Mo shouted again, summoning a massive stone wall a hundred meters thick. The vines struck the wall, slowing their advance. For a moment, the two forces were evenly matched.

Clark watched anxiously. "If this continues, can he still win?"

Viewers around the world shared his concern. The tide of battle seemed to be shifting with each passing second.

"Cut!" Chu Mo shouted.

The air shimmered as golden energy condensed into a sharp blade in his hand. In one swift motion, he slashed downward.

"Whoosh!"

The blade sliced through Doomsday's head, leaving a deep gash.

A crack appeared on Doomsday's head.

A moment later-Bang!

The massive body was split in two, the halves sliced with remarkable precision.

"Ten seconds left," Chu Mo muttered, his lips curling into a confident grin.

He glanced at the two halves of Doomsday, certain of his victory.

The countdown began: 10... 9... 8... 7... 6...

"Ding! Copy successful!"

"Ding! Congratulations, you have reached the peak power of the gold level!"

"Ding! Congratulations, you have achieved Self Evolution!"

"Ding! Congratulations, you have achieved Energy Absorption Evolution!"

"Ding! Congratulations, you have unlocked Infinite Physical Energy!"

"Ding! Congratulations, you have attained Infinite Self-Healing!"

"Ding! Congratulations, you can now perform Flying Leaps!"

**Ding! Congratulations, you have unlocked Super Thermal Vision!

The system's voice echoed repeatedly, each announcement boosting Chu Mo's confidence.

"Ding! Your skills are evolving!"

"Gold level peak strength! You are now half a step away from Platinum level!"

"Light of Destruction has merged with Super Thermal Vision, evolving to level 2!

"Super Speed has merged with Jumping and Flying, evolving to level 2!"

"Super Physical Fitness has merged with Infinite Physical Fitness, now at Infinite Level 2!"

"Super Self-Healing has evolved into Immortality!"

A surge of power coursed through Chu Mo's body, adding to his already formidable physique. His strength increased exponentially-he was now many times more powerful than before.

"Half-step Platinum Level," Chu Mo murmured, "This is equivalent to half-step Single Universe Level!"

If he pushed a little further, he could rival Dormammu's power.

Chu Mo looked at the severed finger in his hand, his grip tightening as he channeled his newfound power. Instantly, the finger turned to ash.

With a thought, the massive stone wall before him crumbled. On the other side of the battlefield, the two halves of Doomsday struggled to reunite.

"Not this time," Chu Mo said coldly.

With a flick of his wrist, two massive vines erupted from the ground, one grabbing each half of the creature's body and pulling them far apart.

"Let's see you regenerate now," Chu Mo sneered.

The bodies, now separated by dozens of meters, fell silent as if stripped of life.

"Finally dead!" President exclaimed as he watched the scene on the screen, relief washing over him.

"My God, the monster is finally dead!" others echoed, cheering in celebration.

"Yes! I couldn't stand it anymore."

"This man saved the world!"

"He's a real God on Earth!"

"But don't forget Batman!"

"Batman? He's just a mortal. It's this man who deserves the praise."

Clark exhaled deeply, his tense muscles relaxing. "At least it's over," he whispered.

Diana cautiously approached Chu Mo, her curiosity piqued by his confidence. "Are you sure it's dead this time?" she asked.

"Don't come any closer!" Chu Mo shouted, his gaze fixed on the battlefield.

Startled, both Diana and Clark froze.

"What's going on?" Diana asked, confused.

"It's not dead yet," Chu Mo said grimly, his eyebrows furrowed.

"Not dead? Impossible!" Diana exclaimed, looking at the two motionless halves of Doomsday.

Even Superman, using his x-ray vision, found no sign of life. He frowned. "Is Chu Mo being overly cautious?"

Suddenly,"Bang!"

Both halves of Doomsday exploded violently.

"Roar!" came the deafening scream.

A new Doomsday emerged from each half, more powerful and menacing than before.

The crowd watching the livestream erupted into chaos.

"It's alive?!"

"Why won't it die?"

President clutched his head in despair. "Why? Why is it still alive?"

Chu Mo remained calm as he watched the evolved Doomsday. Their ability, Self Evolution, made them immune to the same attack twice, and each death made them stronger.

He sighed. "Killing them is not enough. I need to destroy them completely."

As the two Doomsday attacked, Chu Mo's gaze hardened. "Let's test this."

He tapped into the Anti-Life Equation within him. Yellow runes materialized in his eyes, twisting and bending like living energy.

"Bang!"

The runes made contact, and the Doomsdays dissolved into nothing. Dust scattered into the wind.

Chu Mo closed his eyes, absorbing the lingering power of the Anti-Life Equation. "Finally dead," he murmured.

The Anti-Life Equation had proven itself, but he remained cautious. In the vast DC Universe, ancient and powerful beings would not overlook such a weapon.

"I will only use it if absolutely necessary," Chu Mo decided. "I don't want to be hunted like Tang Sanzang by every god-tier being in existence."

Clark continued to stare at the battlefield, his nerves still tense. Diana hesitated to approach.

"What are you waiting for?" Chu Mo asked, his voice snapping her out of her daze.

Diana blushed as she approached. Chu Mo smiled mischievously and lightly slapped her buttocks.

Diana's cheeks flushed, but she didn't resist. Instead, she obediently followed him, a small smile on her lips.

Clark watched the exchange with envy. "Second Uncle, why do you get all the women? Can't you spare me one?"

Chu Mo rolled his eyes and kicked Clark into the air. "I let you guard the world and now you want my girlfriend?"

Diana giggled as she and Chu Mo disappeared from the battlefield.

Back at the control center, President stared at the screen in disbelief.

"Is it really over?" he asked.

The assistant nodded. "It seems so."

Meanwhile, the people watching on their phones were in shock and awe.

"Why didn't he do that?

"Is that it?"

"Just one move and it's gone?"

"Why didn't he do it from the beginning?"

"To show off his power, of course!"

"Well, he definitely succeeded."
