Avery and Samuel chatted happily in the elevator while they forgot about Alex, a phone rang. Alex brought out his phone, and he answered it with a cold look. The only thing both Samuel and Avery could hear was Alex humming. When he was done with the call, he faced Samuel.
" Something came up, so l won't be going with you both."
Both Samuel and Avery nodded their heads., Alex got out of the elevator when the teacher was on the second floor.
" What do you think came up?" Avery asked Samuel
Samuel shrugged his shoulders and replied;
"I don't know, it's his matter".
Avery nodded her head.

Alex entered his office and saw two well-built bodyguards standing in front of his desk. They greeted him politely.
" Sir, Miss Veronica and Mr Bruce are working together." one of the bodyguards said
Alex just nodded his head and signalled to them to change the report.
" She's also looking into Miss Avery's information."
" Make sure she finds nothing and block all their resources, also make sure they don't get any information about Avery, Avery is mine to look at not hers, if any mistake happens, you're gonna pay with your life" Alex jeered
His bodyguards shivered at the change in Alex's expression, from a cool person to a wild person.
Looking at Alex, they knew that Avery was someone they shouldn't mess with.
" Yeah, and also keep an eye on Veronica, "Alex said
Alex leaned on his chair and massaged his temples when his phone rang;
" What happened?" a male voice asked
"She is looking into Avery's information, but everything is fine for now, "Alex said
"I see, yeah will you come for lunch? Avery and I are at the restaurant "Samuel said
" Cant, still working "
" Ok, if you say so, and yeah I asked Avery if she was dating, and she said no, so I guess I'm going in ".
Alex scowled as he heard what his friend said
" Sam, leave her alone, she not those girls "
Samuel chuckled at Alex's statement.

Avery and Samuel arrived before Suzzy did, Suzzy came in wearing a blue shift
"I'm sorry I'm lat" Suzzy paused when he saw Samuel
"YOU!" Suzzy exclaimed
Samuel looked at Suzzy with mixed emotions.
Avery was super confused about what was going on
" Do you guys know each other?"
Suzzy took in a deep breath before saying
"Let's talk later".
Avery nodded her head, and Suzzy sat down beside Avery, lunch was a bit awkward, Avery could feel the awkward atmosphere, and she knew those who were emitting that.
Suzzy was uncomfortable eating with her ex. She kept having flashbacks while eating, she choked in the process of chewing. She started coughing, which made Samuel's instinct kick in, he got up from his seat and handed a glass of water to Suzzy while patting her back. Suzzy nodded her head as a sign of thank you. She drank the water, she excused herself afterwards, Samuel followed her, leaving Avery all alone.
Suzzy rushed to the washroom, feeling frustrated. She sprinkled water on her face and looked at herself in the mirror, she took in a deep breath and cleaned her face before getting out.
"Ahhhh" Suzzy exclaimed when she was pinned against the wall. She was about to scream but Samuel covered her mouth.

" I'm sorry baby,"
Suzzy pushed him away
" Don't you dare call me that you lost that right to call me that when you cheated on me with that whore, Belinda" Suzzy said
