Tears rolled down his face, he felt sorry for what he had done to her three years ago. Suzzy was a good person and a good lover but he betrayed her. Suzzy was getting emotional, she freed herself from Samuel and walked away. She walked towards their table, took her bag and left the restaurant without saying goodbye to Avery. Avery called her but Suzzy was not in the mood to talk.

Samuel punched the wall to relieve the pain he was going through. God knows how long he'd missed Suzzy, dreaming about her and visiting their favourite place. He left the washroom and headed to his car. He drove off crossing the driving limits, he drove straight to Gibson Company. With a harsh slam, Samuel closed the door to Alex's office door. Alex's face darkened when he heard the door being slammed. Samuel walked in with a scowled expression. He moved to the mini-bar in Alex's office and gulped every content in the whisky bottle. Alex didn't bother asking Samuel about his sudden change in attitude, rather his question irritated Samuel
"Did Avery enjoy the food?"
Samuel turned to face Alex and scoffed ;
"I don't know, did you know Suzzy was in the country ".
Alex hummed and focused on what he was doing.
" You knew! You freaking knew about it. And you didn't tell me. How could you, huh? How could you do this to me?"
" I knew she was in the country when I looked into Avery's information. I noticed her friend looked exactly like the girl you met in Italy, so I also looked into her information and she was the same person."
" And you didn't tell me, I was in the dark all this while, how could you do this to me?" Samuel was pissed off, he needed to get out of the office before he does something crazy.

Avery had no option but to follow her friend to her apartment, she had to knock several times before Suzzy opened up. Avery was welcomed by puffy eyes and messy hair. She hugged Suzzy tightly.
" Are you ok?"
Suzzy shook her head, and Avery led her friend inside. She went to the kitchen and poured a glass of water for her. Suzzy took it and drank the water;
"Do you wanna know what happened?"
" If you wanna tell me, sure "
Suzzy placed the glass down and took in a deep breath.

Suzzy had a scholarship to further her education in Italy, one of her dream countries, but she wasn't ready for anything that would come her way in education. She stayed in Italy for months, she made sure she accomplished most of her goals, renting an apartment and getting a job. But in college, she had to face her worst nightmare, Samuel, girls squeal their lungs out when they hear his name or see him, but for Suzzy, Samuel was a pain in the butt. When her feet landed in her new school, Samuel was the first person to bully her. Either he made sure Suzzy's project was destroyed or he had something else to do that would infuriate her.
One afternoon Suzzy was submitting g her assignment to one of her teachers when she spotted, the devil, she decided to change her route but that day wasn't her lucky day, trying to change her route, she forgot about the stairs.
