Suzzy stripped through steps, she was waiting for her face to touch the ground but surprisingly she didn't feel anything, she opened her eyes, she frowned when she saw what was in front of her.
" Hello, beautiful," Samuel said with a smirk
He knew Suzzy would be using this route, so he made up his mind to get there before her making it seem like a coincidence, however, he wasn't expecting Suzzy to change her route. Luckily he had sharp hearing, not hearing Suzzys further footsteps, he saw her changing her route but the silly girl missed a step making him a hero
"Th-thank you," Suzzy murmured
"Pardon?" Samuel said, he heard what she said but he wanted to tease her
" I said thank you," Suzzy exclaimed
Samuel chuckled; he moved closer to her ear since he was holding her waist ;
" You know, your facial expression and the words coming out of your mouth say otherwise."
Samuel teasingly said
Suzzy became red, he could feel Samuels his breath, making her flush.
Samuel chuckled, he let go of her ;
" Ahh!" Suzzy exclaimed
She could feel pain in her ankle,
" What happened?"Samuel asked with a worried expression
" Nothing, I'll get going now,"
"Ahh,"
" You know, you should stop pretending, what wrong? Is it your leg?"
"I'm fi-"
Samuel didn't wait for her to finish her sentence when he carried her, he sent her to the school nurse,
"Oh my, it's good you came here, you've hurt yourself. I recommended you not to walk about for some time " The nurse said
" What? But I have a group representation coming on,"
" Don't worry I'll deal with it" Samuel said
" I don't need your help,"
The nurse left them alone since she could feel the tension between them
" Listen here Suzzy, you're hurt there's no way you can make it during the presentation, I just wanna help you. Is it that hard?"
"it's not hard if the person who wants to help me is not you."
Suzzy words pierce Samuel's heart, the atmosphere changes drastically.
" I'm sorry, "Suzzy said
" No need to apologize, from your words I can see you hate me that much, you don't even know me,"
Suzzy bit her lips, he's right she didn't know him enough to judge him.
"Ok, I'll allow you to help me" Suzzy felt bad for her words so she agreed
" Really!, I mean, I'll talk to Professor Lincoln."

And that's how Suzzy and Samuel became close, Suzzy was grateful for what Samuel did, he helped postpone the date of the presentation, from that incident, Suzzy wanted to know him more since he helped her, getting to know each other as friends led to something else, they became closer than anything else.
