'My body! It no longer hurts. But it does feel quite heavy. Should I try and open my eyes?'
Camelia's eyelids refused to open when he tried to blink. The sensation felt like he was under a spell, but Camelia could not wake up.
The fog he was under made his mind numb, and his magic felt out of reach.
Thankfully, it was still this, and Camelia could use it once he had regained control of his body.
"Fuck! Are you still not waking up? Shit! What do we do now? At this rate, she will die. Priest, is there nothing you can do?"
Someone's rude voice made Camelia's ears itch. It was what finally dragged him out of the sleep he had been in.
"Ugh-"
"Priest, look! She's waking up! Your spell worked! Despite being a C-class Priest, you saved her life…but who is she?"
The rude person asked, and Camelia forced his eyes open.
He felt that these people were talking about him, but the last time he checked, his body had been male.
Since Camelia had been created with a male body, that was how he associated himself. But in reality, he neither had a confirmed gender nor did he care for it. He could be whatever he required to be.
Still, to be addressed as a female irked him a little.
"Hey, you are finally awake? Good! I was so scared that you wouldn't wake up anymore….no, don't wake up o-or.."
The speaker went red, and he quickly looked away when Camelia pushed his body up. His chest felt heavier than ever before, and he quickly darted his eyes toward his chest.
'Ah, this body is female. Somehow, I feel like I should feel more shocked than I currently feel.'
Being in a female body was not much different from being in a male body. His body had a slightly different center of gravity than before, but that was not a big change to adapt to once Camelia got his hand on his magic…
'I can feel my magic, but I will require a little more time to access it all. *Sigh* Looks like gathering information comes first.'
Since Camelia had forced his body to stand up, the cloth that had been covering his chest fell.
As a result, the two people in front of him had flushed faces, and they could not look him…err her in the eyes.
"Do you know where I am? Also, what day is it? What about the Apocalypse? Did I come to pass? And the king? Is he alive?"
Camelia asked all these questions in a slow voice. She did not want to overwhelm the kid in front of her.
The buff warrior only blushed harder as he refused to look at Camelia. On the other hand, the Priest had no problem looking at Caemlia's naked body, but the warrior quickly smacked him across the face.
"I will answer whatever you want, but can you cover yourself up? This is too distracting."
The warrior yelled, putting his hand to cover his eyes. He also muttered how to be pure for his 'darling.'
Camelia quickly tried to check on her inventory spell, and it was a surprise to see that she still had access to it.
There, she quickly got out a robe and wore it.
Regret flashed in the priest's eyes before he quickly masked it up. Once he had himself under control, the priest asked the real question.
"Ugh, do you remember your name? What about your guild? Or even a training facility? Do you have your identification card on you?"
The priest asked questions Camelia had no idea about.
What was an identification number? What was a 'Guild?' And just how did she end up in this dungeon when the last thing she remembered was closing her eyes and-
"Where are the kids? And the king? Hurry up and answer me. How did you get inside this dungeon?"
Camelia's eyes were hard, and their coldness made the priest gulp and step back.
"Sorry, but I have no idea what you are talking about. A king? What king? There has not been a king since eons ago. As for us entering this dungeon? It is a common dungeon that anyone can join.
I mean, as long as you have a collector's license, you can come in and gather material in the safe area. Did you hit your head and lose your memory?"
The priest asked, reaching out toward Camelia with his glowing green hand.
It was a spell Camelia had seen many times before. She quickly grabbed that offending hand heading toward her and snapped that wrist.
"Don't try to use magic on me. I don't know what you are planning, but I will-"
Before Camelia could finish her threat, the ground began to shake. The warrior, doing his best not to look at Camelia, finally looked her way with a guilty look.
At the same time, he looked determined to speak up.
"We need to get out of here. The C-class monster, Hunting Queen, is heading this way. Since it is the boss monster of this dungeon, it will be strong enough to take us out if we are found.
Let's hurry up and leave now."
The warrior warned, and Camelia felt a little started by his sudden voice.
'How does this man know about the Dungeon and its monsters? Was it not supposed to be classified information that only selected people had access to? Then why…what happened while I was unconscious…'
"Hurry up and run! We don't have time to think about this anymore. Fuck! We need to get out of here."
The warrior finally grabbed Camelia's hand once he realized she was lagging.
Camelia could sense the monster's level, which did not look strong. A single spell from her would be enough to squash the monster and-
"Don't even think about it. I don't know what you think you can do, but that monster is a C-class boss monster. You will die if you fight alone. Even B-class experts come down here in teams to fight against that thing."
The warrior spoke, trying to outrun the creature, but the boss decided to ambush the party instead.
