Chapter 13: A million times yes.

It had been two years since Angelo's father was put away for his crimes, and life had been good to everyone. Leah and Angelo had started a romantic relationship, and Charlotte was dating Max, who had finally realized his feelings for Leah were more like a brother's love for his little sister. Chase and Jase were dating the infamous twins Lanna and Maya, who had cut ties with Lucy after her betrayal. Mark had become close friends with Stella.

Leah woke up to the sound of her alarm clock, a beautiful smile spreading across her face as she got ready for the day. She had no idea what Angelo had planned, but she could sense his excitement. She dressed in her stunning red dinner gown, feeling like a princess.

As she sat on the couch, her phone beeped with a text from Angelo. "Hey babe, if you're ready, come outside. My driver will pick you up."

Leah's heart raced as she made her way outside, where a sleek black Mercedes awaited her. The driver nodded respectfully and drove her to the Emperor Jun Hotel and Spa, the most luxurious hotel in the country.

As they pulled up, Leah's eyes widened at the grandeur of the hotel's black, gold, and silver facade. She felt like royalty as she stepped out of the car and onto the red carpet.

"Have a nice evening, ma'am," the driver said with a smile, handing her a small note with the room number: VIP 5.

Leah's heart raced faster as she entered the hotel lobby, her eyes scanning the opulent decor. She made her way to the elevator, her palms growing sweaty with anticipation.

What did Angelo have planned for her? And why was he being so secretive?

The elevator doors opened, and Leah stepped out into a lavish corridor, the sound of soft music growing louder. She followed the sound to room VIP 5, her heart pounding in her chest.

As she raised her hand to knock, the door swung open, and Angelo stood before her, his eyes shining with love and adoration.

Leah's eyes widened as she took in the lavish room, the candles, the flowers, and the exquisite decor. The Emperor Jun Hotel's VIP suite was breathtaking, with its black, gold, and silver theme radiating luxury and sophistication. She felt like a princess in her red dinner gown, her heart racing with anticipation.

Angelo's eyes locked onto hers, his gaze burning with emotion. "Hey, beautiful," he said, his voice low and husky. "Welcome to our special evening."

Leah's gaze drifted to the elegant chandelier, the grand piano in the corner, and the stunning city view through the floor-to-ceiling windows. "Angelo, this is...wow," she stammered, her voice barely above a whisper.

Angelo chuckled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "I wanted to make this night unforgettable," he said, his smile faltering for a moment as he nervously fingered the small box in his pocket.

As they entered the room, soft music began to play, a soulful melody that filled the space with romance. Leah's heart skipped a beat as Angelo led her to the center of the room, where a exquisite dinner setup awaited them. Crystal glasses, fine china, and a delectable spread of dishes adorned the table, filling the air with savory aromas.

"Shall we?" Angelo asked, pulling out her chair with a graceful gesture.

Leah nodded, her eyes locked onto his, her mind racing with excitement. What did he have planned? Why was he being so secretive? He couldn't have gone this far if it were just an ordinary simple dinner, there had to be something else.

As they sat down, Angelo poured her a glass of wine, his hand brushing against hers, sending shivers down her spine. "To us," he toasted, his eyes sparkling with adoration. "To our love, our journey, and what's yet to come."

Leah's heart fluttered as she raised her glass, her mind whirling with possibilities. What did the future hold for them?

She felt like a queen, and Angelo was her king. What did he have in store for her? Only time would tell.

...

Leah's eyes sparkled with wonder. "This is incredible," she breathed, her gaze drifting to the stunning city view, the grand piano, and the elegant chandelier.

"Happy birthday, my love," Angelo whispered, his eyes shining with adoration. "I wanted to make this night unforgettable, just like you."

Leah's eyes widened in surprise. "My birthday? I had completely forgotten!"

She had already forgotten about her birthday 'haa' what a surprise who on earth forgets their birthday well LEAH STEVENS of course. She laughed at her own sillyness

Angelo chuckled, his smile radiant. "I knew you would, so I wanted to surprise you. And I have one more surprise left."

He took her hand, his fingers intertwining with hers as he led her to the center of the room. With a deep breath, he dropped to one knee, his eyes locked onto hers.

"Leah, from the moment I met you, I knew you were the one. You light up my world in ways I never thought possible. Will you marry me, my love? Will you be my forever partner in crime, my best friend, my everything?"

Tears of joy streaming down her face, Leah nodded, her heart overflowing with love. "Yes, yes, a million times yes!"

As Angelo slid the ring onto her finger, the room erupted in a soft, golden light, the music swelling to a crescendo. It was a night that would be etched in their hearts forever, a night that would change the course of their lives.

And as they embraced, the city lights twinkling below them, they knew that their love would shine bright for all eternity, in this life time and another if they could meet again in their next life they would still fall in love again.

They were just meant to be together and nothing can change it not even death can keep them apart because they would still be together in the afterlife and the great beyond.
