Angelo's world went dark, his mind unable to comprehend the horror that had unfolded. He lay there, his body numb, his soul crushed. The guards' words echoed in his mind, "There's no one left to save."

As the reality of the situation set in, Angelo's body began to shake uncontrollably. He sobbed uncontrollably, his mind filled with memories of Leah. Their laughter, their tears, their dreams, all gone.

The guards tried to console him, but their words were empty. They couldn't bring Leah back. They couldn't undo the damage that had been done.

Angelo's screams turned to wails, his body wracked with pain. He begged for Leah to come back, to forgive him for not being there to protect her. But deep down, he knew it was all in vain.

As the darkness closed in around him, Angelo realized that his life was over. He had lost the one person who made his life worth living. Leah was gone, and he was left with nothing but ashes and tears.

The once vibrant hotel lobby was now a scene of utter devastation. The explosion had ripped through the building, leaving nothing but destruction in its wake. The sound of sirens filled the air, but they were too late. The damage was done.

And in the midst of it all, Angelo lay broken, his heart shattered into a million pieces. His life would never be the same again. Leah was gone, and he was left to pick up the pieces of a shattered dream.

Days passed, but the pain didn't subside. Angelo's world was shattered, his heart reduced to ashes. The authorities found bodies, charred beyond recognition, and took DNA samples for identification. Angelo's worst fears were confirmed: Leah's body was among the victims.

The funeral was a blur, Angelo's mind numb as he bid his final farewell to his beloved wife. The coffin was closed, her beauty lost to the flames. He couldn't bear to look at her burnt remains, couldn't bear to say goodbye.

He had hoped for a better future with her, a long and memorable life with their children he remembered when Leah was picking names for the children they didn't have he thought she was being silly but now he desperately wanted to hear her silly voice he missed her so much that he's heart hurt, it was a painful but sweet feeling.

Others came to claim their loved ones, some survivors burnt beyond recognition, left in comas, their futures uncertain. Angelo's mind reeled, his thoughts consumed by grief and guilt. Why had he left her alone that night? Why had he not been there to protect her?. And the scariest part was that he couldn't let go his heart would forever drown in guilt and he didn't want to let go his love had died and even if he spent the rest of his life in guilt he deserves to suffer because he might grow old and one day die but Leah would forever remain twenty.

As the days turned into weeks, Angelo's sanity began to unravel. He became catatonic, unable to speak or move. The psychiatrist in charge of his case shook his head, "I don't know how long he'll be like this. The trauma is severe, his mind is shattered."

Angelo's world was darkness, his soul trapped in a never-ending nightmare. Leah was gone, and he was left with only ashes and tears. His mind replayed their last moments together, his last words to her, "I'll be right back." But he never came back, and she was taken from him forever.

The hospital room was his prison, his mind his own personal hell. He was trapped in a cycle of grief, unable to escape the pain that consumed him. Leah was gone, and Angelo was left to face the darkness alone.

His family came to visit him every day and they couldn't help but cry, Charlie couldn't believe that everything turned out like this. Everyone was affected but her brother looked beyond repair.

" come back to us big bro." She whispered as she couldn't hold her tears anymore, she had tried to be strong apart from her friends she was alone. Her father had committed suicide in jail Angelo was already going to inform Leah when the whole thing happened, her mother had entered a coma after loosing her husband and now this was happening to her son , she was just so tired of being strong.

Max hugged her tightly assuring her that he was there for her.
