When I was still a young child, dad told me the adventures he had when he was away from us.
Stories that is both dangerous and thrilling. Each time he comes home after an expedition, he will tell me unbelievable tales about his journey or tales passed down on the area he travels through.
I am Lux Ashford, son of a local celebrity treasure hunter Viktor Ashford.
The artifacts he sold on museums has quite the history according to the legends and tales of the tribes living near the areas.
For example, a shield that was apparently blessed by the guardians of a lost kingdom or the vase that had held the echoes of the past generations of an ancient royal family. But dad disappeared.
Everyone thought he died out there. We searched and did everything we could do but to no avail. He literally disappeared like the wind.
My mom and I mourned. But we still have to continue without him.
I want to continue his legacy of being a treasure hunter. To which my mom does not approve. I was disappointed but I understand her reason as to why she doesn't want me to be like him. Just dad alone almost make her want to escape reality. What about me disappearing from her as well?
So my dreams of being a treasure hunter had stayed as a dream and now, I am at my 2nd year of high school. I am currently 15 years old. Today is the start of the class this year. But this is also the start of learning more about the places and why my dad disappeared back then.
