Chapter 17 - CHAPTER-19 : The Great Blizzard vs. Death’s Champions

As the White Thunder Wolf King's lifeless body collapsed, a massive soul seeped from its broken form, swirling like a storm of energy. Jay wasted no time. He activated Arise Spirit, binding the soul and storing it within his system.

Jay turned to the three black-eyed ghouls—the 9-Headed Serpent, the 4-Legged Kaiju, and the Beholder King—who stood before him, their bodies trembling with exhaustion from the fierce battle. Just as he opened his mouth to commend them, a chilling laugh echoed through the corridor.

"Well, well... Quite the effort you made to kill one of my underlings."

The voice was smooth yet menacing. Out of nowhere, a tall figure materialized at the end of the corridor. He had wild white hair, sleek white fur covering parts of his arms and neck, and wore robes as pure as snow, making him seem both regal and dangerous.

"Master, get behind me!" Adonis growled, darting in front of Jay. Chenoo, the spectral guardian, materialized beside him, ready to shield his summoner.

The three ghouls immediately shifted their attention to the new threat, sensing the danger emanating from him. They tensed, prepared for combat, their eyes locked on the intruder.

The white-haired figure smiled calmly, as if amused by their caution. "Why so tense? I didn't come here to fight—at least, not yet." His gaze wandered lazily over Jay and his defenders. "My master only wishes to meet the little Lich. As for the others..." His grin widened. "They will serve as offerings."

Jay's heart pounded in his chest. There was no mistaking it—this man was no ordinary enemy. Fur bristled along the stranger's arms and neck, and his icy presence filled the air with an unnatural chill. Jay narrowed his eyes and quietly activated Detection, hoping to uncover who—or what—he was dealing with.

[System Alert: Evans, The Great Blizzard Crown Wolf]

[Rank- Master (Level 93)]

[Bloodline-High Noble]

[Special- ???]

[Skills- ???]

Jay's breath caught in his throat. Level 93?! This entity wasn't just powerful—he was leagues beyond even Chenoo, one of Jay's strongest summons. The mere presence of Evans sent a chill down Jay's spine.

Before Jay could say a word, Adonis stepped forward. "Who are you, and who is this 'master' you speak of?"

Evans chuckled, his cold blue eyes gleaming with mischief. "Oh my, where are my manners? I am Evans, the Great Blizzard Crown Wolf." He gave a mock bow, then smirked at the skeleton knight. "As for my master... you wouldn't be worthy of knowing his name, you pitiful piece of bone."

Adonis growled low, anger flashing in his empty eye sockets. But before he could act, Jay cut in, trying to probe further. "So, Evans... If you're the leader of these wolves, I have to wonder—how did someone as powerful as you end up serving another? And just who is this master of yours?"

Evans's grin grew wider, but his expression remained cold and condescending. "Ah, little Lich, even I don't know my master's true name. And if I did..." His voice dropped into a dangerous murmur. "I certainly wouldn't tell you."

Then Evans straightened, his fur bristling ever so slightly. "But enough chit-chat. I've given you a choice: surrender your summons, and I might spare your life. Resist, and I will eliminate you along with your pets." His grin sharpened into a predatory sneer. "You're not even General rank. You can't possibly stop me."

Jay's fists clenched, and a determined fire burned in his eyes. "I don't care what rank you are. I won't let you or your master sacrifice my summons. We came here to eliminate you—and since you've shown yourself..." He took a step forward, glaring fiercely at Evans. "...prepare to die. After you, your master will be next."

Evans's amused grin faded into a cold, menacing expression. "So... that's how it's going to be, then?" He tilted his head slightly, his icy eyes glinting with malice. "Very well, Lich. But mark my words—the ones who will die here..." His voice dropped to a growl. "...will be you."

Adonis and Chenoo tightened their stances, ready for the inevitable clash. The three black-eyed ghouls—still worn from their fight with the White Thunder Wolf King—shifted their focus entirely to the new threat.

And Evans, the Great Blizzard Crown Wolf, stood at the end of the corridor, a cold smile lingering on his face. "Let's begin."

Jay summoned his skeletons and undead legions back with a flick of his hand, Evans' cutting remarks still lingering in the air. Without a word, Jay and Pluto slipped away into the shadows at the back of the corridor, retreating from the confrontation.

Now, only Adonis remained, standing firm at the front alongside three black-eyed ghouls and the towering Chenoo. They faced the bold, white-haired man—Evans—whose gaze radiated both confidence and defiance. The air between them grew heavier, as if the battle to come was already unfolding in their minds.

The air in the corridor thickened with frost as Evans, the Great Blizzard Crown Wolf, stepped forward, his white fur shimmering beneath the cold light of his conjured storm. Ice crackled beneath his paws, and every breath exhaled a mist that stung like knives. Around him, a raging blizzard churned, blinding and biting with merciless precision.

Standing against this overwhelming force were five combatants: Adonis, the Multi-Winged Devil Skeleton King, Chenoo, the Evil Ice Giant, the mighty 9-Headed Serpent, the 4-Legged Kaiju, and the ominous Beholder King.

Without warning, Evans dashed forward, faster than any of them expected. A Frostfang Barrage—hundreds of ice fangs formed from his domain—shot toward his opponents like missiles.

The 9-Headed Serpent reacted immediately, curling two of its heads in front of its body to intercept the fangs. It activated Myth Armor, deflecting some of the incoming projectiles, while other heads shot out their All Elemental Affinity Blasts. Fire, water, lightning, and wind merged into a devastating wave, meeting Evans head-on. The elements clashed with ice, shattering into jagged fragments.

Evans leapt into the air, unharmed, and retaliated by summoning a colossal Ice Spear, hurling it at the Beholder King. The spear moved so fast it tore through the storm, leaving a trail of frost in its wake.

Adonis flicked his hand, summoning a Space Blade. With a precise swing, he cut the spear in half mid-flight, both halves shattering on impact with the walls.

"Annoying," Evans muttered as his paws skated across the frozen ground like a specter, weaving through their ranks with supernatural speed.

The 4-Legged Kaiju roared, activating Senses Imbalance, trying to disrupt Evans' movements. The wolf faltered slightly, his steps becoming erratic, but Evans grinned, unleashing his Super Illusion to counter. For a moment, multiple Evans clones flickered across the battlefield, sowing confusion among the group.

The Beholder King, floating ominously above, analyzed the situation with Super Observation. Its eyes gleamed with a dull light as it unleashed Mind Possession, attempting to seize control of Evans' mind. Evans winced but resisted, channeling his rage through sheer willpower.

Before Evans could retaliate, Adonis teleported beside him with blinding speed, his Space Lock preventing further movement. "You're not going anywhere," Adonis growled, his skeletal wings spreading wide as he summoned a Golden Laser Beam.

Evans responded by invoking his Crown of Winter, summoning a dome of enchanted ice. The laser struck the barrier, shattering part of it but failing to penetrate fully.

"Good effort," Evans sneered before releasing a devastating Blizzard Shockwave, blasting everyone back.

Amid the chaos, Chenoo bided his time, silently observing. His icy breath turned the air around him into fog, and his eyes shimmered with menace. Without a word, the giant slammed his fists into the ground, triggering his Frost Domain to compete with Evans' blizzard. The clash of domains caused the air to warp and groan under the pressure of cold magic.

Seeing Chenoo as a threat, Evans lunged at him, his claws glowing with frost energy. Chenoo blocked with his enormous forearm but staggered under the blow. Evans pressed the attack, slashing and biting relentlessly, each strike chipping away at Chenoo's defenses.

But the ice giant grinned—a dark, silent grin—and let the darkness inside him take over. Darkness Control: Blackout spread through Chenoo's body, engulfing him in shadow. His form twisted and grew even more menacing, his aura becoming suffocating. When the transformation completed, Chenoo's Evil Domain merged with his Frost Domain, amplifying his strength and presence on the battlefield. His blackened form radiated malevolence as he now spoke for the first time.

"I will end you."

Evans snarled, sensing the shift in power. He conjured more Ice Wolf Clones, but Chenoo's abyssal presence crushed them with a simple wave of his hand. Evans tried to retreat, but Adonis was there, slashing with his Space Blade Art. A streak of spatial energy tore through the air, grazing Evans and drawing blood.

The 4-Legged Kaiju roared again, launching an Earthquake that shattered the ice underfoot. Evans stumbled, but his Blizzard Barrier held firm, preventing him from falling. The 9-Headed Serpent took advantage of the moment, lunging with 9 Drilling Heads, each head spinning like a drill to pierce through Evans' defenses.

One head managed to sink deep into Evans' side, drawing a howl of pain from the wolf. But before the serpent could finish him off, Evans summoned a desperate Blizzard Annihilation—a final, overwhelming storm that encased the entire corridor in ice and snow.

Amid the raging storm, Chenoo's abyssal form loomed, unaffected by the cold. He emerged from the shadows, his glowing red eyes piercing through the blizzard. With monstrous speed, he lunged at Evans, delivering a bone-crushing Sharp Chomp that clamped onto Evans' shoulder. Blood sprayed as Chenoo's fangs sank deep, and the wolf howled in agony.

Evans fought back fiercely, slashing at Chenoo with his claws, but the ice giant's Super Healing nullified the damage instantly. The Beholder King and Kaiju followed up, blasting Evans with a combination of Soul Damage and Dark Beam, further weakening the wolf.

Pinned and wounded, Evans realized he had no chance of winning. His once-pristine white fur was now matted with blood, and his movements were sluggish.

With a snarl of frustration, Evans summoned the Temple Dimension Formation. A swirling vortex of snow and ice opened beneath him, pulling him away from the battlefield just as Chenoo prepared to deliver the final blow.

"You won't escape next time," Chenoo growled, watching as Evans disappeared into the blizzard portal.

The storm finally settled, leaving the corridor eerily silent. Chenoo reverted to his normal form, his body steaming from the intense fight. Adonis landed beside him, his skeletal wings folding back into place. The 9-Headed Serpent, 4-Legged Kaiju, and Beholder King gathered around, their bodies battered but triumphant.

Jay stepped forward, his eyes lingering on the spot where Evans had vanished. "He got away," he muttered.

Chenoo rumbled lowly. "Not for long."Jay was quite surprised at most at chenoo as he didn't know chenoo could transform and also speak !

Adonis sheathed his Space Blade, turning toward Jay. "What now, master?"

Jay grinned, despite the exhaustion in his eyes due to the aftermath of the shockwaves from the battle he had to use most of his mana to withstand them. "Now we'll take a break before we face Evans again—and next time, we'll make sure he doesn't escape."
