Chapter 2 - assisted.

They kept thinking about how to escape from that place and fix the broken mission system. The four of them continued to discuss and make efforts to get out—Sakura, Aiko, Renka, Natsumi, and Miyu.

Without them realizing Suddenly, a large, abstract monster with no clear shape appeared. The four of them immediately grew cautious. The monster was green and breathed deadly poison-like air. They all stayed on guard as Aiko, the sword user, slashed at the monster. But even though its body was destroyed, the monster kept regenerating as if nothing had happened.

Sakura, the technology expert, tried to analyze the monster, but the poison breath damaged her equipment. Even Miyu's AI programs couldn't withstand the monster's deadly aura, leaving everyone exhausted—except Aiko, who kept attempting to defeat the creature, despite her efforts being futile.

Outside, Hazel felt that something was wrong with their mission. Olivia reassured her, saying, "It's probably nothing, just your imagination." Hazel fell silent but remained worried.

Back in the malfunctioning mission room, the agents were struggling. Even Aiko, who had been relentlessly attacking, was beginning to tire. The monster wouldn't die, and Aiko, now weakened, dropped her sword. She looked around and saw her teammates unconscious.

The monster just stood there, unresponsive to the chaos around it.

Suddenly, someone appeared, wielding the sword Excalibur. He was wearing a neat suit, though it was unbuttoned, and carried a large sword. He approached the weakened junior agents and said, "Well done, you've fought hard." He then turned to the monster and declared, "It's time for you to die at my hands."

The monster let out a deafening roar, one so powerful it could cause death, but the newcomer—Saber—ran toward it and struck the monster with his sword, sending it flying backward. Saber didn't stop there. He activated the energy in his sword, powering up his attacks. His movements were swift, and he dodged all of the monster's strikes without being hit once.

"You're weak," Saber taunted, "You can't even land a hit on me." Enraged, the monster created a sharp, spear-like object and charged at Saber with incredible speed, successfully stabbing him in the stomach, causing blood to pour from his mouth.

But Saber wasn't about to lose. Despite the wound, he pulled the spear out and stood, even though his stomach was punctured and his lungs damaged. He used his sword to cast a healing spell, and in an instant, his body was restored to perfect condition, as if he had never been hurt at all.

Saber then activated his strongest form, the "Light Mode." His jacket fell off, revealing a white shirt and tie, and his sword transformed into a smaller, sleeker blade. He rushed at the monster, launching it into the sky before leaping after it and slamming it back down. He unleashed a flurry of sword strikes, causing the monster intense pain, its agonizing roars echoing loudly.

"This is the end for you," Saber declared. He dashed forward at a speed faster than sound, slicing the monster in half. The creature disintegrated like salt.

The junior agents began to wake up, astonished to see that the monster had been defeated. Aiko, still dazed, asked, "Who are you?"

Saber replied, "I'm an agent too, from the monitoring office. I sensed a threat here, so I came."

The junior agents thanked Saber for saving them, and he led them back to safety. When they arrived, Hazel immediately rushed to check on the agents, asking, "Are you all alright?"

"We're fine," they replied. "Just a bit injured and tired. Thankfully, Saber saved us."

Hazel turned to Saber and thanked him for rescuing the junior agents. He nodded and said, "It's my duty to protect the people of this village."

Everyone returned to their places, and the junior agents prepared to tell the others about the monster they had faced.

To be continued.
