The monster managed to escape and fled to the forest to hide. In the forest, it quickly built a vast, invisible kingdom, and created an enormous invisible army. This made it appear as though the monster was alone, even though it was actually surrounded by its unseen forces and hidden kingdom.
Meanwhile, the junior agents were in the middle of a serious training session when they were approached by Hazel, who said:
Hazel: "Take a break, junior agents!"
The junior agents responded, "Alright."
Hazel led the junior agents to the dining hall. They grabbed their food and sat down to eat while watching TV. The news broadcasted a report about scientists discovering strange movements in outer space, suggesting the existence of a new universe or a massive alternate reality. The scientists also mentioned that there seemed to be something governing life there, though they had no way of reaching it. They used detection tools to reveal that this space was fundamentally different from ours.
The scientists explained that the dimensions in this universe were far superior to our own. While humans live in a world defined by time and the dimensions of length, width, height, and depth, the newly discovered universe operated beyond these dimensions, existing outside of time, space, and alternate realities.
One scientist elaborated, "We've also studied this universe in relation to superstring theory."
He then explained the complex nature of dimensions:
Scientist: "The 1st dimension only has length. The 2nd dimension has both length and width, forming a plane. In this dimension, objects are described with two coordinates (X and Y). The 3rd dimension, which we currently inhabit, includes length, width, and height, creating a three-dimensional space. In this space, objects have volume and can occupy various points. In the 4th dimension, we add time to the three-dimensional space, meaning events occur not only in space but also in time. You can think of this as a 3D film, where each frame represents a moment in time."
The scientist continued, "Now let's move on to the more complex dimensions: 5 through 10. The 6th dimension includes universes with different laws of physics or different initial conditions, showcasing alternate realities. The 7th dimension presents every possible universe, each with unique physical laws, representing the full spectrum of realities. The 8th dimension introduces more abstract and interconnected structures of the multiverse.
He then explained the final two dimensions:
Scientist: "In the 9th and 10th dimensions, we encounter all higher possibilities of reality, possibly including collective consciousness or concepts beyond time and space. The 10th dimension, the final dimension in superstring theory, integrates all previous dimensions, encompassing all physical laws and possibilities. However, this new universe transcends even that. It is utterly incomprehensible to the human mind."
A scientific advisor then added, "Behind all of this, there must be a Creator, one who is truly beyond definition and impossible for the human mind to understand."
The program ended, leaving the junior agents sitting in stunned silence, unable to comprehend what the scientists had said.
Hazel smiled and said, "Don't worry about trying to understand all of that, kids. It'll only confuse you."
Meanwhile, Vivienne and Hunter had also seen the news.
Vivienne remarked, "Should we investigate this as well?"
Hunter replied, "Yes, we'll study it, and don't forget, we still need to catch that monster."
Vivienne nodded, "Alright."
In a flash of smoke, they transported themselves to the forest. Upon arrival, they were confronted by a powerful beast. Hunter drew his sword and slashed at the beast, but he struggled against its strength.
Seeing this, Vivienne said, "Let me handle this."
Vivienne activated her Arcana Veil, a massive barrier covering a 20-kilometer radius. The entire area was enclosed, like a stage.
Vivienne: "My power can manipulate reality, and I can ask for anything I want. Within this veil, I'm beyond cause and effect, so nothing can attack me."
As the monsters charged toward her, Vivienne used her power to absorb the life force of the beasts, instantly draining them and killing them with a snap of her fingers. She erased the existence of the remaining creatures, even wiping out their souls.
Vivienne: "Alright, you won't be coming back."
Vivienne smiled as she turned to Hunter, "Look, I've killed them all."
Hunter stood silently, watching.
Vivienne then dispelled the Arcana Veil, returning everything to normal.
Vivienne: "Let's continue our journey to hunt down that monster."
Hunter replied, "Alright."
