Selene's Diary
Dear Mother,
That night when my gaze met his, I knew I was a lost case. To be honest, I never believed in love but that day, my heart started pounding so fast, I felt I had a heart attack. But still, I believed that love shouldn't be given a chance . It's elusive power didn't always bring happiness. Sometimes it came with tragic endings, death and heartbreak accompanied. I did live a carefree live, without suffering from any such pensive grief. I guess it's because of my father and brothers, who never let me feel your absence mom. But I would be lying if I said my heart didn't shattered when I saw father whipping softly in his room, holding your photo frame in his hands, afraid that someone might hear or when my brothers woke up early, to cook me breakfast just I liked their food more than the cooks. I just feel like I am a burden to everyone loves me and that's why I don't want to embrace this feeling called love.
Before I could realise anything, I found our body entangled together. My consciousness was hazy. I just felt whatever was happening but couldn't understand what it was. That was the night when he first touched me, when for the first time, our souls connected, with no fear residing within me. It felt peaceful. But the peace was short lived. Everything happened so quickly that I couldn't interpret anything. I found myself married to him, our lives intertwined. Not to make my father any more tensed, I agreed to his majesty's proposal for me to to join Endius to Elenora, in search of the magic stones. I just know one thing, I don't want to break my already shattered heart.

Diana's PoV
I got frightened when I heard a loud sound coming from my side. I turn my head to find out that it was my brother's work. As expected from him.
"What the heck is wrong with you? Are you trying to make me deaf?" I spouted angrily. If he is that jealous of me, then he should just make his relationship public at this point.
"Well, I won't allow you to sit on his lap. You are still a child." Solinus said in a stern tone. Here he goes again.
"We are of same age. Don't treat me like a child. Also, why can't I sit on his lap? Mind your own business." I said, clearly annoyed by his attitude. Then I slowly get up and sit on Alex's lap.
"Why can't you just listen to me? And you mister, get away from my sister." Solinus said, his body language clearly depicting that he was angry. Then something unexpected happened.
"I will sit on his lap instead of my sister." He had finally gotten mad due to his jealousy issues.
"And how will you fit on his lap?" I asked, questioning his idiocy.
"Like I always do?" Woah. Always? Do?
"Oh my god. You people moved your relationship to the next level? Damn, congratulations!" Exclaimed Selene.
They already did all those things. Why did I hope that I was misunderstanding their relationship?
"Of course not."
"Yes"
Alex and Solinus said simultaneously. Alex's face had turned pale. At this point, even my brother had agreed to it.
"What the fuck are you going on about Solinus. Diana listen to me, it is not true at all." Said Alex, as if trying to convince me that I am misinterpreting it all.
"Whatever I said is true. Now can you leave my sister out of this mess." Said Solinus in a cold tone. Everyone seemed surprised at his statement including Alex. I stood up saying that we all should have dinner as it is getting late.
The dinner was better than what I expected but I had no appetite so I left for my room.

After the dinner
Selene's PoV
"Now that was something unexpected, wasn't it? Who would have guessed that they were together? But that doesn't make any sense to me." I blabber , trying to put off the awkward tension. The earlier conversation seemed to have put a lingering tension between us.
"And why doesn't it make sense to you?" Asked Anguis.
Well that's because I thought that Alex liked Diana. But after Solinus's declaration, things don't quite fit well. But I can't tell this to Anguis as I had promised Alex that I wouldn't tell anyone about it.
"I don't know, it's just my gut feeling." I replied. This seemed like an appropriate response to the question.
"Oh." His response was followed by an long moment of silence.
"Well, let's continue our discussion on the topic that we had to leave in the middle, before the party." Said Anguis.
"Y-yeah s-sure." I stuttered. Nervously I looked up to find him already staring at me.
"Okay, we should make some rules, that we both agree on, in order to make it easier for both of us." It seems like we are in a business meeting and I am his client. Who would believe that him and I married?
After this, we had a long, serious discussion over the rules. We finally listed them on a piece of paper, for reference purposes. The rues were as followed:
1 . Both of us will treat each other as husband and wife in private places and call each other by nicknames.
"Is that necessary? Also, what do you mean by regard each other as partners? Do I treat you like a servant?" I asked him.
"Yes, it is necessary. And the answer of your question, you don't treat me like a servant but that doesn't mean you treat me like your husband."
"And you treat me like your wife!" I replied, sarcastically.
"I will try my best to treat you like my wife. Also, decide what nickname would you like to call me by tonight."
"You have decided?" I asked him.
"Yes but I will tell you later. Now let's move on to the next rule."
2. You are not allowed to insult your wife in the public and you should treat her like a goddess all the time.
"When do I insult you? And why am I the only one who has to treat you like a goddess? Shouldn't you do the same too?" Questioned Anguis.
"I am the pretty one that's why I should be treated like a princess. And I am just saying, in case you decide to insult me."
"That's true. You are the prettiest." He mumbled.
"What?" I couldn't hear what he was trying say.
"Nothing."
3. We should try couple like activities to strengthen our relationship. For example, hugging, cuddling, kissing…
"That's bold of you." I said, blushing profusely. Even his face had turned red. If he is this shy, then how could he even suggest it?
"It is necessary."
"Is it?" I questioned him back.
"Yes!" His face was fully flushed.
"O-okay"
4. Late night walks every day.
This rules was also made by him. I had to agree with him as I was too tired to argue with him now. We decided to discuss whatever was left later as it already to late. And with that we went to sleep. Today was full of unpredictable events but I don't know why I was happy with whatever happened between me and Anguis. I hope everything will be great ahead.
