Giving Marcus a look, Gordon shrugged.
"Sure, I will open the orb, but if it is something I can't use, I will give it to you."
Assuming that the soul orb would only give one object Gordon didn't know that he was actually showing his ignorance. A soul orb often gave more than one prize and soul orbs above the blue silver level even guaranteed a two item pop.
Casually, he reached out and put his hand in the soul orb. He had been expecting to encounter some type of resistance. Instead he put too much force into his act and had to brace himself against the table when he almost fell forward. Embarrassed a little he pulled his hand back quickly afraid that he had done it wrong. Seeing that the soul orb was gone he wondered if he had made some kind of mistake and that there wouldn't be any gifts from the orb.
However, the next moment his worries were assuaged as multiple items seemed to apparate into existence.
