Startling awake with pain shooting into his body all over Gordon instinctively tried to move and only caused even more pain.
Remembering where he was, Gordon tried to use an [Invulnerability] voucher. Easily enough the voucher appeared from the system space. The next step was much harder. From experience he knew that he had to throw or impact the voucher with some kind of style. Just having the intention alone wasn't enough. Somehow he was going to have to make use of the voucher in a cool or meaningful way.
Right now unable to see and covered in dirt he wasn't going to be able to use the voucher with anything like the normal style he had been employing.
Slowly the dirt settled bit by bit, making small groaning and snapping sounds as the wood was bending and breaking with the weight of the dirt. If he wasn't able to come up with some new moves soon Gordon was going to be buried alive.
