Not wanting to admit his fears about using a passive skill, Gordon had the strong feeling that Marcus would dismiss them all too easily. At the same time though the [Calm Mind] skill was yellow orichalcum. It would be pretty amazing to have such a strong skill no matter what it did. This could be a once in a life time opportunity. Thinking like this he realized that he would be a fool to worry.
Just learn it and grow stronger, that was all he could do right now. Beggars couldn't be choosers.
Without any more hesitation he opened the [Calm Mind] skill book and started to read through it. Unexpectedly it was very short. So short in fact that he didn't think this could be called a book.
