Chapter 11 - Marvel, Scientist Becomes God, Ch 11

Ye Hai frowned slightly, and suddenly vanished, reappearing beside the giant lizard. With a swift kick, he struck the creature's menacing face. The giant lizard was caught completely off guard, or perhaps it lacked the agility to react in time, and was sent flying with just one kick.

"Bang!"

The force of impact caused several dents to form in the rigid iron bridge. The giant lizard's pupils dilated in an instant, its face twisted in agony, becoming even more grotesque.

"Roar!"

The giant lizard rose angrily to its feet, its powerful regenerative abilities quickly restoring it to normal. It abruptly grabbed a nearby car and hurled it away, the heavy vehicle flying through the air as if it were a mere pebble.

Ye Hai simply dodged the incoming car with a slight movement, then swiftly closed in, delivering rapid punches to the giant lizard's body. The lizard howled in pain and anger, swinging its sharp claws in relentless attacks at Ye Hai, who agilely evaded each strike.

Although the giant lizard's attacks were incredibly fierce, to Ye Hai, it appeared clumsy and cumbersome, as if he were bullying an intoxicated heavyweight, hitting wherever he wanted.

Ye Hai had quickly recognized the lizard's issue—it was like a newborn baby, still stumbling in the early stages of learning to walk, having immense strength but lacking the ability to use it flexibly. In contrast, Ye Hai had activated his third-level brain domain, allowing him to control his body with precision akin to a computer, making each movement extraordinarily agile.

The giant lizard was completely unable to counter. Finally, Ye Hai seized the lizard's tail and, amidst its violent thrashing, smashed it against the bridge, creating massive craters with each impact.

Suddenly, Ye Hai's hands were empty; all that remained was a wriggling lizard tail, while the giant lizard hurriedly fled, throwing cars in its wake.

Cars zoomed past crashing through the air, and Ye Hai dodged each one. Suddenly, a car flipped in the air and rushed towards him, accompanied by the terrified screams of a woman inside.

**There's someone in there!**

Without hesitation, Ye Hai lunged forward, firmly grabbing the car. The immense force of impact sent him flying away, but he managed to stabilize himself.

Ye Hai effortlessly held the vehicle aloft; inside, the people continued to scream in terror, and no amount of reassurances from Ye Hai seemed to help.

Realizing he had no choice, he swiftly moved to place the car on the side of the bridge before flying back towards the giant lizard.

To prevent further casualties, he needed to end this quickly.

While Ye Hai was rescuing people, the giant lizard dashed across the bridge, the surface rumbling beneath its giant frame as it collided with a minivan.

Boom!

The minivan was flattened on impact as the giant lizard's massive claws penetrated the vehicle's shell, grabbing an Indian man inside.

With a sinister grin, the lizard exclaimed, "Dr. Rada, I didn't expect us to meet so soon, did you?"

"You are... who are you?" Dr. Rada gasped in shock at the sight of the lizard, suddenly struck by a realization. "You are... Dr. Connor?"

"Correct," the giant lizard replied with a smile. "What do you think of my form? Isn't it perfect? Muscular limbs and tough scales—it's all quite impressive, isn't it?"

The lizard operated as if in a self-indulgent trance, fully identifying with its current form and believing that lizards were the most perfect beings in the world, while humans were merely numerous maggots.

"Y-yes, Dr. Connor, but why have you come for me? I meant you no offense; I was merely following Mr. Norman Osborn's directives," Dr. Rada stammered in fear.

"Do you know what the characteristics of a lizard are? Strong, cold-blooded, and vengeful. The moment it senses danger, it will retaliate," the giant lizard's enormous pupils fixed on Dr. Rada's terrified face, relishing the feeling of contempt for lesser beings. How dare this little bug insult the great lizard king? This was a death wish; to punish the bug for its insolence, it deserved to be tormented. But first, that pestering flying creature was back...

With a swift motion, the lizard's claws punctured Dr. Rada's neck, crushing his head instantly as brain matter and blood sprayed everywhere. Dr. Connor felt no disgust; rather, the smell of blood exhilarated him.

With his target taken care of, Dr. Connor lunged forward and grabbed onto the iron pillars of the bridge, quickly climbing down to the underside.

"Hey, where do you think you're going, giant lizard?"

A figure in a red and black outfit blocked the way, hanging from a silk thread like a spider.

Dr. Connor sneered, "Little spider, do you think you can stop me? In nature, spiders are always prey to lizards. You are dealing with reptiles smaller than you."

Peter shrugged nonchalantly, "I see myself as the zookeeper, and I'll put you in a zoo for the kids to look at."

"A bunch of bugs wishes to capture me!"

Furious at being mocked once again, Dr. Connor lost his temper, tearing through the webs that ensnared him and charging at Peter.
