Kale's POV
For the first time ever, I was actually excited to come to school and I've lived in a fucking run down alley filled with criminals by myself without being eager to go to school, so it's a pretty huge feat that something was able to make so eager now, or rather, someone.
This 'someone' who, after a night of brainstorming and thinking, I've decided to call little angel, is now gone missing from her seat and I was feeling very anxious about this. When I couldn't take it anymore, I stood up from my seat grabbing both my bag and hers and walked out of the class ignoring the teacher.
Being third years, our class was located at the left end of the second floor, our locker rooms at the right end and the toilets also on the right end facing the locker rooms.
I stomped all the way to the girl's toilet ignoring the looks I was receiving and barged in. Whether luckily or unluckily, the bathroom was not occupied at that moment so I was spared the torment of girls and their screeching voices. My eyes caught sight of a toilet stall having it's door knob tied tightly with a piece of cloth and I walked over quickly ripping the cloth right off and pulling the door open. Avory sat on top of the closed toilet seat completely drenched in what smelt like pee with her phone to her ear, she looked up at me eyes wide and tried to smile but I was just pissed, I was so fucking pissed.

Avory's POV
"Who did this to you?" Kale growled gritting his teeth in fury, if I wasn't already used to overbearing attitudes, I might've fainted from how oppressive he was at the moment. And how hot he is too I couldn't help thinking as my eyes unconsciously swept over his entire frame stopping momentarily at his lower region where his junk was still visible through the coffee brown pants that were part of the school's uniform then going back up to his face.
I hope he didn't notice me checking him out I blushed slightly in embarrassment.
"I asked who did this to you" he said sounding more agitated now and I quickly raised a palm "oh don't worry about it. I didn't see them anyway, they locked me when I was inside already and didn't show their faces" I answered with a half lie, they really didn't show their faces but they called each other's names so much I couldn't have missed it even if I was deaf. Kale simply glared at me then dropped the two bags he was carrying on the sink before taking off his jacket and placing it over my shoulders
"Go take a fucking bath in the locker room" he muttered picking up the two bags and walking out. I stared at his exiting back for a while before stepping out as well crossing the corridor quickly and entering the locker room.
...60 minutes timeskip.....
I had finally finished dressing up after scrubbing my self to my satisfaction, I could still perceive a bit of urine but this would have to do until I could head home a take a long soak in the bath tub.
Upon exiting the locker room, I was met with Kale also exiting the boy's locker room. I smiled when our eyes met but he simply frowned
"Thanks for the jacket, I'll get it washed and return it as soon as possible" I spoke since it seemed he was not keen on saying a word to me. Rather than replying to what I said, he stuffed a huge gray hoodie in my arms, I recognized it as the one he was wearing yesterday and looked up at him raising a questioning brow.
"Wear that over your outfit" he said walking towards the stairs "oh, and don't forget to return it, it's my favorite" he added going down the steps. I smiled at his back as he left almost laughing as I began to put on the hoodie.
"Virgin" I muttered.

Avory's POV
"So, wanna grab something to eat?" Kale asked all of a sudden drawing my attention away from some fluttering butterflies. I smiled, "I don't know, what do you recommend doc?" I asked and he grinned seemingly pleased. That, I was glad about. The kid could be real scary when upset.
"This doc recommends that the patient goes to a brunch and coffee shop with the doc right now" he said playing along and I giggled"okay, whatever you say doc" I replied saluting and he chuckled, it sounded so deep I thought it was my ears that were just vibrating extra fast, that seemed to stir something in me as my stomach had butterflies.
"Well then, I'll lead the way" he said walking slightly ahead of me.
....4 hours timeskip....
I arrived home and the time was already past six. I sighed wondering how the kid managed to get me to spend the rest of the day with him after the lunch.
"Damian, you should be happy, your daughter has been chosen by the Oracle. This is a great honour" said an old voice that I recognized belonged to a member of the group of bastards and bitches that call themselves the council of elders and I ceased my breathing. Good thing I conceal my presence nearly all the time.
"It's an honor you say? How can it be an honor when the one to whom my daughter will be given is going to be killed?" My dad's eerily emotionless voice sounded next and I felt my heartbeat stutter biting down on my lip to suppress any reaction that might spill.
"He has to be. The oracle gave another verdict that has to be prevented at all costs" the elder spoke.
"And killing the Taemoon is the way to prevent it" my dad stated "yes, and I'll leave that you, Do not fail the elders" the elder concluded and I heard a faint whish signalling that he was gone. My dad sat there for a while before another faint whish signalled that he was gone as well. Immediately I heard the sound I collapsed onto the ground hugging my knees to my chest.
They want to kill Kale! They want to kill Kale! They want to kill Kale! What do I do? What exactly did the oracle say this time?
My mind was running at a million kilometers an hour and I grabbed the collar of Kale's hoodie, which I was still wearing, and pulled it over my nose breathing in and out deeply. Once I was calm, I took out my phone from my pocket and dialed a Dan's number. The call was finally picked and I wasted no time narrating what I'd heard to Dan,
"What are we going to do this time Dan?"
