CHAPTER 13💜14
Lucifer ran as fast as his leg could carry him. He couldn't teleport to the train station because he hadn't been there before. He breathed heavily as he got into the station and he looked around searching for Neriah.
Her scent hit him,the scent of vanilla and roses,he traced the scent and saw her sleeping peacefully on a chair and he scowled. She must be at peace thinking she escaped from him.
"Well,sorry to burst your bubble,mate. We are stuck together forever"he muttered as he approached the counter.
Through the woman behind the counter,he got to know that she was heading to new York and he manipulated the Ticketer to believe that he bought all the tickets for the train so people were led to wait in a room.
He made a mental note to inform the Ticketer to allow Neriah get into the train if she ever came to him.
And now,she was right before him dumbstruck as his body burned with rage. He was burning in fire but he cared less.
Yes,his demon controlled fire and he had never been this angry so he never knew that he could emit fire whenever he was angry. He only commanded it whenever he wanted to lit fire woods

Neriah took two steps back as she stared at the man before her. No,he wasn't a man. She didn't even know what he was. He was different from what she knew him as. The mask on his face was burning yet he didn't take it off
His red eyes were practically burning and his body was emitting heat as his dark hair was on fire yet he didn't seem to be bothered by it as he sent daggers towards her with his eyes.
"Cat your tongue,mate?"Lucifer howled as he moved closer to her and she moves back till her back hit the train's body.
"I told you not to leave and you promised me. I detest liars and I can't stand betrayals."Lucifer said huskily and Neriah gulped down in fear.
"I...am...so..rry."stammered Neriah and hurt flashed through Lucifer's eyes.
"Why??Why did you lie to me?? Why did you want to leave me?? I thought we were getting closer??"growled Lucifer in pain.
Neriah scoffed internally. She never belonged to him in the first place. She had a home, a family,a life before he abducted her.
"I guess it's time to come clean"she muttered as she stared at him.
"I want to go back to my family. I don't want to spend the rest of my life being stuck with a monster"said Neriah and Lucifer growled in pain.
It hurts to be called a monster by his own mate. She was meant to be his better half, his comforter, his soul mate. They were meant to be together forever thought thick and thin and love each other but why was this happening to him?
No! He couldn't lose her! He will do everything to make her stay even if it means holding her against her will and marking her forcefully. All he knew was that this woman wouldn't slip away from his hands.
He had already lost so much from birth. He shook his head as the last rationality in him flew away. He grabbed her hair to one side and tilted her neck as he brought his fangs closer.
"Don't fucking do it"his demon and wolf yelled but he ignored them as he sank his fangs into her neck,marking her as his.

Neriah's world froze as she felt pain in her neck. His fangs was still buried in as he licked her blood. She wasn't dumb not to know what happened. Just like in 'vampire diaries' and 'rise of the werewolves', she had been marked. She is now bonded to a monster forever.
That moment,her whole world crashed and she went empty. Tears couldn't even drop from her eyes as she stared into space.

Lucifer pulled away and his heart hammered against his chest in realization of what he had done. He had proven to be the monster that she called him. He fucking marked her without her consent.
He took few steps away from her as he stared at her and she looked empty. He could feel her emotions through the mate bond. She hated him and she had already given up all hope. He finally lost it because she called him 'a monster'.
He ran his hand through his hair as he pulled her into his arms and in a flash, they teleported back to the Lucifer's mansion.

Neriah fell on the floor when he pulled away and she looked around as a sad smile appeared on her face.
She was back to the prison and this time she isn't sure when she will get to see the outside world again.
Tears flowed down her face unconsciously and she felt a hand wipe them off. She flinched and moved back in fear as she stared at him. She could see hurt in his eyes.
He was hurt?? Fuck,this was driving her crazy. She was the one who got bitten by him, She fucking got marked without her consent! yet he was hurt. She hopes that hurt kills him.

Lucifer cleared his throat as he carried her upstairs and she didn't struggle. She laid like she was lifeless in his arms and he somehow missed when she always threw tantrums.
He laid her on the bed and covered her with a blanket.
"You should sleep now"he managed to say and she stared blankly at him.
He really wanted her to say something. Her silence was killing him. He wanted her to shout,hit him and curse at him for marking her but she wasn't doing any of that. She only cried silently.
Neriah stared at him and she wanted to yell at him but she had no strength to do that.
Does it change anything?
No,it doesn't. She had been marked and abducted for the second time again. She is fucking stuck with a monster.

Lucifer watched her for a while before moving out locking the door behind him as he sat down at the entrance.
"Are you still there,guys?"asked Lucifer and his wolf snorted. They had been quiet ever since he marked her and he knew they were also mad at him.
What the fuck was he thinking when he marked her?
"Don't be mad. Am sorry"repeated Lucifer but he got know response.
"You leave me no choice then. I will take mate back home to rectify my mistake"said Lucifer and he heard his wolf howl in anger.
"Don't even dare,bastard"growled his wolf and he chuckled. He really knew how to make his wolf talk but his demon was a hard one to deal with. His demon hardly showed emotions and once he decides to go mute, it might take days to get it to speak again.
"Am sorry, guys. I lost it"Lucifer apologized and he heard a scoff but it wasn't from his wolf. Wait, was his demon about to speak??! This was a miracle.
"Tender your apologies to the right person"his demon barked angrily and Lucifer sighed.
"I don't know how to"Lucifer said truthfully.
He truly don't know how to apologize to her. He had never had the cause to apologize to anyone before so he is clueless.
"As always, you are so dumb. I guess we made the wrong choice by coming into your body"said his demon and his wolf hummed in agreement.
Lucifer knew their anger knew no bounds at the moment but that didn't mean they weren't going to help him,right??
"We'll help"said his wolf and Lucifer beamed in happiness.
"just for the sake of our mate"his demon added.
"So what's the plan?"Lucifer asked hurriedly.
"Let's go to the human world"said his demon and Lucifer stood up reluctant to leave as he stared at the room where Neriah was.
"Mate is broken,she won't leave even if she wants to"his wolf said and he sighed as he teleported to the human world.
He will do anything to get her forgiveness and for once he felt guilt and fear. Guilt because he hurt her and fear because he didn't want her to hate him.

"Buy this"his demon said
"And that too"his wolf added and Lucifer groaned in frustration.
He ignored the weird look he was getting from people and he knew they were staring at his eyes. His eyes now had three colors all because his demon and wolf refuse to stay within so they all stayed at the surface together giving his eyes a touch of black,red and silver which made it shine.
"That's enough. How are we sure she's going to like all of this?"Lucifer asked in frustration and his wolf giggled.
"Watch and see"said his wolf.
"We've helped you enough let's go back now. It's all left to you to get her forgiveness"his demon said. He was still mad at Lucifer for what he did and he wasn't willing to forgive him soon.
"When will you come to the normal terms with me?"Lucifer asked his demon and he heard a sigh.
"When mate forgives you"replied his demon.
Lucifer sighed sadly. He must get Neriah's forgiveness fast as he wouldn't be losing her alone but his demon might never speak to him forever.
"Let's do this"he charged himself up as he teleported back home.
