Fiona woke on the border of town; she was still in shock and was remembering the entire battle with the man up to her throwing both herself and him off the cliff. After that it was all blank, she had no idea how she got here and how long it had been, deep down she had an urge to do something, but she had no idea what her soul wanted. As Fiona stood up, she noticed that she was not wearing her original clothing, it was silk and comfortable, made of the finest fabric. Once she recalled everything she could, Fiona broke down in tears "Why me, why did I survive!? HOW DID I SURVIVE!?" Her wounds had healed, and her arm was reattached, but she was confused and mentally drained. After a few moments she stood up noticing a bag lying in front of her, her heart burned with desire and when she checked her chest a marking of some sort of dragon was there, wiping her tears she picked the bag up and a note fell from it, Fiona picked the letter up and opened it. It was in a type of writing she was not familiar with but as if her brain knew it, she adapted to it, reading it like it was natural to her. It had four words "Take care of her." "Who," Fiona asked aloud. That is when she heard slight breathing from the bag. Fiona through it on the ground and heard a yelp of pain, she slowly approached the bag and as she opened the bag two black night eyes stared back at her. It was a baby Nidhogg dragon! Fiona had only heard stories of this type of beast in myths! This creature was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen, and she felt a connection that drew her to this dragon, telling her to protect and nurture it until she could not anymore. Now in the story, we have been brought back to the start, where Fiona had just broken down. Fiona passed out but was grasping the bag so tight that they had to move her with it, once she had awakened, she felt stronger, stronger than ever. The village elder asked her what happened once again, and she told him the story of leaving out the infant dragon. The village elder happened to know what kind of man attacked her party back on the cliff, he believed that it was the fallen Aesir einherjar captain. An Aesir einherjar captain were fierce and renowned warriors and the one that they came across was most likely the body of one who came back to life after dying in battle and having his soul taken by a Valkyrie and brought to Valhalla.
