Shade wailed in horror, Shade had never felt this kind of anger before, her eyes went from black to blood red. All she wanted at that moment was to find who did this to Fiona and rip them into pieces. She started to roar and roar until all the animals in the nearby area had fled in fear. She ran through the forest knocking down every tree in her path. As Shade gets to the lake Fiona whom she used to train in all the time, investigates it and sees her reflection, she sees herself with Fiona next to her and she cannot take it. Shade started breathing fire at the lake because she could not look at herself anymore. In mere seconds, the lake was gone nothing but steam going into the sky. "Calm child," said a mysterious voice "Who are you" shade roared in her mind "I am nothingness, and I am everything" You are me and I am you," The voice said in a calm tone. "Why did she die" Shade cried. "Because she fulfilled her destiny" The voice explained, "Wha...what destiny, "asked Shade. "You are dear, you were her purpose and destiny," the voice said. As for Shade, she broke down in sadness as the voice dissipated into the back of her mind, Shade passed out due to the exhaustion catching up to her. When she awoke Shade dragged herself back to her home to see Fiona one last time and laid next to her for the final time, then set her to rest by cremating her and letting her blow away in the wind. Shade lay in her family home just wanting to stay there forever. The sun shined a bright orange in the morning after the tragedy. Shade awoke to the voice of a man "You are finally awake" The man was at least 6ft tall with a chocolate brown beard and hair, he was wearing black and red dark mage robes. To Shade this man was nothing to her, just a pest that she wanted to swat away, she thrust her tail, but it was sent flying. Shade lifted her head in confusion as the man cast a spell of destruction towards her. As the spell hurdled towards Shade, she dodged out of the way just in time as it went flying past her it hit the ground behind the home. The ground went up in flames as an explosion went off incinerating everything in its path, as ash fell from the sky and the fire burned with a passion in the forest, ending life so quickly. Shade had never seen destruction like this ever before, this power was on a whole other level. As Shade looked the man in the eyes she roared and the man said, "You have almost as much passion as the women in this house did, before I killed her of course." Shade burned with anger as she heard the man. She breathed fire towards the man intending to charr him to the core wanting vengeance for her master. She breathed and breathed fire at the hottest temperature possible. She stood there huffing from exhaustion. The wall of fire burned so brightly it looked like she was in Muspellheim, the wall started to split in the middle as the shadow of the man appeared walking through the flames. Shade was in disbelief; her flame was meaningless. The man sent three more balls of flame towards Shade each having a devastating explosion that left craters everywhere. The ground shook and blew animals and plant life in the air as the man kept casting more spells. Shade was starting to tire as she kept having to dodge, the man went for another barrage of spells to hit the dragon, so Shade used this as an opening and dashed at the man, she swung her talons at the man who weaved and dodged out of the way shocking her even more. The man just smirked and laughed at her; he raised his hands to the sky as he called down one of him most devastating spells he has. He called down the giant fireball which Shade had no time to react to, it struck her directly in the back and shattered the scales, leaving a massive scorch mark on her back. Shade was left crushed under the weight of the fireball, the lake and waterfall behind her home were gone evaporated from the heat of the spell, Shade lay there in agony on the brink of death, her new power not even close to the power of this man. As the flames died down, the ash buried Shade and the man approached her, she was barely breathing, and the man charged up one more spell to finish Shade "For Sultr" he whispered as he cast the spell directly next to her.
