Dasizai had found Kei-Kei, Shintawa, and Keyati by the morning. They were about to leave Pyuauddo Town and he ran after them. He called out, hoping to reach Kei-Kei...
Dasizai: Kei-Kei! Wait up!
Kei-Kei: Huh- Dasizai!?
Keyati and Shintawa looked back after they heard that. Both looking surprised. Dasizai caught up to them and grabbed Kei-Kei's shoulder.
Dasizai: Kei-Kei, I have to teach you Kami no Chikara. You don't even know the basics and you intend to be Heavenly Swordsman.
Kei-Kei: What? But Shintawa's-
Dasizai: Shintawa knowing how to use it does not mean he can teach. Come with me.
Dasizai began walking to the Pyuauddo Town Park. Kei-Kei followed him curiously, Shintawa and Keyati followed behind. Once at the park, Dasizai placed his bag on a bench and went into an open space. He beckoned Kei-Kei to follow, which he did. Keyati and Shintawa sat on the bench where Dasizai's bag was.
Dasizai: Alright Kei-Kei. So, first step of Kami no Chikara manipulation, steady your focus. Breathe in and out calmly.
Kei-Kei closed his eyes, slowed his breath, and rested his heart. With slow breaths and complete silence, Kei-Kei felt it. Flowing throughout his body like a stream was Kami no Chikara. However, it was only in half of him. Throughout the other half was rage. His Dakuenaji from being half-Oni.
Dasizai: The hatred and rage flowing in you is Kami no Chikara's opposite. Do to your nature as a half-Oni no doubt. Block it out. You have access to both however it is better to push Kami no Chikara forwards. Your Dakuenaji being prioritized may cause your human side to transform to fit your Oni side.
Kei-Kei followed the advice of his cousin. He pushed down the darkness. Away the hate. Letting go of it until he could feel it only as a distant feeling in the back of his mind. His Kami no Chikara surged with new power. The white aura emanating from his body.
Dasizai smirked and put a hand to his chin. He then let his own Kami no Chikara surge. He then tapped Kei-Kei, causing him to open his eyes.
Dasizai: Now, put that into a punch. Hit me.
Kei-Kei: You sure?
Dasizai: Very. Just use your right arm. Your left can only channel Dakuenaji.
Kei-Kei nodded and balled his right arm into a fist, channeling Kami no Chikara into it. Dasizai awaited Kei-Kei's punch. All of Kei-Kei's white aura from the Kami no Chikara went to his fist. And finally, Kei-Kei lunged forward with a punch.
Dasizai dodged and Kei-Kei hit a tree behind his cousin. The tree burst into splinters, leaves falling with no branches for them to grapple.
Dasizai: Nice. That's the basic application. With that knowledge you can channel it into martial arts and weapons. Unfortunately, due to your Dakuenaji lowering the overall amount of Kami no Chikara in your body...you can't perform a signature technique or anything advanced.
Kei-Kei slumped with a sigh...
Kei-Kei: Aw man...
Dasizai: But hey, at least you can use it. I assume you know the Clear Cut Technique for fighting Oni yeah?
Kei-Kei: Shintawa taught me!
Dasizai nodded and the two began to walk away. Dasizai grabbed his bag as Keyati and Shintawa joined them. The quartet began to exit Pyuauddo.
Dasizai: I'll be traveling with you. There's a lot of stuff to see. And expansion outta Parados might be good for business.
Keyati: Finally. I can walk next to someone I can stand.
Kei-Kei & Shintawa: HEY!!!
Keyati: Yeah you heard me, cock suckers!
Dasizai sighed with an awkward smile on his face, before resuming with his usual bravado. As they exited Pyuauddo Town, they walked down the path to Tatakai City. No roads actually were drivable there so it was all on foot. A few minutes out they were in an isolated location on the path at night.
Shintawa's ear twitched. Had he heard something? He looked over to his left but only saw Kei-Kei. At least at first. Past Kei-Kei, in a tree line near the path, were a pair of red eyes. Shortly after seeing that, a stream of a concentrated red liquid shot at Kei-Kei's head.
Shintawa: Kei-Kei get down!
Shintawa tackled Kei-Kei, causing the beam to only break the single horn on Kei-Kei's head on the left side. It regenerated due to Kei-Kei's half-Oni nature. However, in shock all four of the group members looked to the trees, where the figure revealed themselves.
An Oni, with red hair, red eyes, and dark grey skin with red tattoos all over. He wore a malicious smile. Blood dripped from one of his palms, and he looked at Kei-Kei.
???: You. I heard your name was Mishimura. So I did digging. You are the descendant of Kachito Mishimura.
Kei-Kei: So?
???: He humiliated me when I was freshly immortal you brat! And since you're his blood, I'll kill you to get revenge on that long dead bastard! Plus, in my digging I realized someone I know has knowledge of you. But unfortunately they won't get to do their planned actions as I'll end you.
Dasizai rolled his eyes, alert but believing this Oni was a showboat. Shintawa drew his twin katanas, preparing for battle. Kei-Kei did the same as Shintawa, drawing Mochi. Keyati pulled her revolver from its holster and loaded the cylinder.
???: Call me Barahoshi, the Bloodstained...
Barahoshi smiled as the blood from his hand morphed into a sphere, floating in the air...
Barahoshi: Member of the Oni Council. Who will kill you for being a Mishimura!
The quartet's eyes widened when Barahoshi proclaimed Oni Council membership. Most everyone knew of the Oni Council. Even someone like Kei-Kei, who knew very little about the Global Government's inner workings. So they all got even more nervous, but steadied. Ready to face a member of the Oni Council.
