The day after.
"Make sure to be polite and obey your father, i know you're a good child but just to make sure, here's your bento since I don't know how much time you will spend there", said his mother
"Let's go", Kirugi said while grabbing his hand
While walking through the Uchiha clan, they quickly reached the clan gate, leaving the clan they headed towards the center of the village.

After a few more minutes walking he really did reach the Yamanaka Clan.
His father told the gatekeeper that he wanted to see a friend called Yamanaka Isamu, after checking his identity they were allowed to enter the clan unexpectedly smoothly, after all they are from the Uchiha Clan.
'I guess things aren't as bad as in the atmosphere before the massacre, we're still at war and the village isn't paying attention for these petty conflicts yet'
They quickly reached a two story house and his father stopped in front of it, they finally reached his father's friend home.
After knocking on the door they were attended by a blonde woman, it seems that she's the wife of Yamanaka Isamu.
"Oh, i didn't expect to receive a visit of Kirugi so suddenly", she exclaimed
"It's been a while", his father answered
After an exchange of pleasantries they entered the house to find Yamanaka Isamu sitting in the couch pondering something with his eyes closed.
"Isamu", Kirugi called
"It's been a while", Isamu finally awakened and smiled
"What's the matter?", he continued
Although they were good friends, they are both practical man so they usually don't do things without a motive.
"Can you teach a child in the art of sensing?, I won't ask for you to teach Yamanaka secrets, just the basic will do", his father went directly to the heart of the matter
"Hmm, teach who?, I don't like kids but since it's you i can consider this issue", said Isamu
"This child", said Kirugi while putting Akira forward
"Your son? i remember he's about one year old, did you learn how to make jokes after all these years?", Isamu made a grin and started laughing
"Stop embarrassing me, i brought him to you because this child awakened the qualities needed", Kirugi retorted looking wronged
"Huh?", Isamu became serious
After this, Isamu condensed chakra in one of his ten fingers and opened his mouth.
"Pick a finger", said Isamu
'It seems he's testing me, although i wasn't a sensor in the simulation, my sensing skills aren't bad since my chakra control reached Chunnin level and my dexterity is naturally high'
After that Akira closed his eyes and sensed the chakra in his surroundings, about 5 meters was his limit but it was quite accurate so he could tell which finger had more chakra in it.
Picking the correct finger, he made an innocent expression and waited for the reaction.
Isamu seemed in shock by his expression, his body was trembling and he seemed to envy Kirugi.
"Is your son the Yamanaka or is my daughter the Yamanaka?, why the hell a one year old can sense chakra but my six year old daughter can't", he seemed to be in the verge of collapse
"Stop overreacting old dog", Akira's father pretended to be indifferent, but inside he was proud of him
"Sigh, fine... i was determined to dismiss any kid that you'd bring to me, but if i let his talent go to waste i'd be the sinner of Konoha"
"Come kid, we'll start the training right now"
Isamu seemed to be excited, but it wasn't for no reason, after all Akira's talent in fact seemed exaggerated.
After a brief discussion between his father and Isamu, he was taken as a disciple and his father went home.
Isamu started doing some tests and discovered that Akira's range of detection was of about 5 meters, even better than what he thought, that was about 32m² of area.
