3,000 Oneiros.
They are the real backbone of the Underworld.
Each Dream God possesses the strength of at least a weak third-rate god, with some attaining the level of second-rate gods, and even a few reaching first-rate god status.
It can be said that the Dream Gods significantly enhance the power of the Underworld.
A true backbone.
So far, Hades' harvest in the Underworld has been substantial, ranging from 19 gods to 3,000 Dream Gods, along with Underworld fighters and many rare treasures. Now, only the final step remains.
"Lord Hades."
Hypnos hesitated slightly, as if he wanted to say something.
Hades raised his hand, halting Hypnos, and said, "Hypnos, it will be vital for the Oneiros to conceive here."
"Yes!"
Hypnos didn't press further; it was Lord Hades' order, and he needed to obey.
The three gods exited the strange space where the Oneiros were conceived. Hypnos sealed the entrance once more and lightly placed his divine power on a butterfly, saying, "You are here to guard this entrance."
After receiving the ray of divine power, the butterfly, glowing with light, began to flit away. Hades continued deeper into the Underworld, gradually disappearing from view. As Hades left, a magic star also drifted away, trembling slightly.
Suddenly, a multitude of ghost butterflies was absorbed and consumed by the magic star, merging with the ghost crystal to forge a brand-new ghost garment.
Earth Demon Star Babylon.
Hades is also referred to as Babylon. Hades gazed at the departing figure of Hades but knew it wasn't the time for him to act.
Turning, Hades suddenly said, "Father God, after watching for so long, do you plan to continue watching?"
"..."
The Underworld was eerily quiet.
This was a realm devoid of life.
At that moment, with Hades' words, Hypnos and Thanatos instinctively surged with divine power.
They dared not be careless because this was the Titan God King, whose might was comparable to that of the Primordial God!
Accompanied by footsteps, a figure cloaked in black robes emerged.
Cronus?
No!
Pluto Cronus!
This was the avatar of Cronus, holding the scepter of the king of the Underworld, adorned in a black robe, long black hair cascading down, a nine-pointed star gleaming between his eyebrows, and deep black eyes that gazed into the endless soul of life, confirming his identity.
Cronus glanced at Hypnos and Thanatos, slowly saying, "Hades, we meet again. I never expected you to come this far and stand before me."
Hades fled, and Zeus rescued the others.
Cronus, as Pluto's avatar, was aware of this, but he never anticipated that the process would take so long, allowing Hades to stand in front of him, especially with the aid of the two Primordial gods. Hades had gradually become worthy of challenging him.
It was no surprise that not only Hades but also Poseidon and Zeus had garnered their own benefits and gains.
Three God Kings.
They were like fortunate children of this era, wandering out to collect treasures, encountering high-level beings, receiving gifts; men, women, and opportunities. Cronus had also followed a similar path; it was entirely reasonable.
Hades shook his head and said, "Father God, what I have now pales in comparison to your divine power."
"Hehehe."
Cronus smiled faintly and replied, "Hades, as you said, what you possess is insignificant. So, I am quite curious: do you truly believe you can defeat me? Seize the authority of Pluto from my grasp? What gives you such confidence? Erebus? Nyx? Those two old ones?"
Even as the avatar of the King of the Underworld, Cronus carried himself with absolute arrogance, having personally overthrown his father god and being a Primordial god in his own right. He harbored no fear of any Primordial deity.
"..."
While Hypnos and Thanatos remained silent, their dissatisfaction was palpable. How could one look down upon their father and mother gods so brazenly?
However, they were in different positions now and chose to remain quiet. Since they had pledged their allegiance, they wouldn't act shamefully.
Just because the twin gods didn't speak didn't mean Hades would remain silent. Deities often engaged in treachery, yet Hades felt gratitude for the two Primordial gods, viewing them as invaluable assets.
Even in the face of his Father God, Hades calmly stated, "Father God, since you disdain the two Primordial gods, then allow me to use their offspring to challenge you. You should appreciate this magic medicine."
Hades lifted a vial in his hand, and the lament of the gods floated gently within.
Seeing the vial, Cronus frowned slightly. Indeed, this posed a challenge, as he understood the nature of the lament, it was a potent magic medicine against him.
Yet, Cronus remained unperturbed. As the King of the Titans, he would not fear mere magic medicine.
However, Hades turned his hands away, storing the lament of the gods and declaring, "Father God, I will defeat you using the heirs of two Primordial gods. This lament of the gods shall be kept for later."
Cronus regarded Hades with a penetrating gaze. Instead of anger, a smile crept to his lips as he remarked, "Hades, you truly are my heir, exuding such arrogance! Well then, let me see if your arrogance is matched by your strength."
