After dealing with some matters in the Underworld, Hades returned to the Pure Land of Bliss and began to truly feel the difference brought about by the Handle of the Underworld King.
Closing his eyes, Hades gradually emptied his mind, focusing on the changes within himself. For the first time, the most significant change was that all the chaotic laws of the past had vanished without a trace.
As a born Pluto, Hades had held a vast number of laws since his inception: life, death, sleep, darkness, dreams, and so on. He had possessed these many laws from the moment he was born, but because of this, they had become too chaotic. Even Hades himself struggled to practice effectively. After all, it is complex but not refined, and every god typically specializes in one law, with others serving as auxiliary.
The problem was that there were too many internal laws within Hades' divine body, and they were mostly grouped in twos or threes without distinction in hierarchy. This was the primary reason for his lack of differentiation between primary and secondary laws.
In fact, this issue was not limited to Hades; Poseidon and Zeus faced similar challenges. This is why the three brothers needed to quickly regain their authority. Only by restoring their authority could they quickly reestablish their own laws.
Pluto! Neptune! Jupiter!
These titles might sound like the names of three god kings, but they are not mere titles. These three represent laws, alongside the landlord and the king of gods; these five are pure, top-tier laws.
Now, as Hades absorbed the Handle of the Underworld, all the laws he controlled merged into it, forming a unique Law of Pluto. His practice at this moment was truly effective.
This explains why, over a million years since Hades' birth, the seeds of the world had cultivated into the World Tree, and the kingdom of God had been opened up! Yet, the cultivation rules had failed to elevate him to the level of the Titan Main God.
Under normal circumstances, given Hades' aptitude, he should have reached the level of Titan Main God long ago. The issue lay in the fact that his practice had been nearly ineffective. The mastery of the laws was far from complete, and without a true law, his progression was stunted. Now that he possessed the Law of Pluto, everything was different.
Quietly closing his eyes, Hades tempered the Law of Pluto with strands of divine power, feeling the deep gaps in his grasp of this law. He squinted slightly; this depth was not trivial.
Slowly, as time passed, Hades opened his eyes and spoke softly: "After all these years, this is the first time I've practiced the law and felt a substantial improvement."
"Very good."
"Faith."
"Law."
"Kingdom of God."
"Everything has been set in order, and the next step is the final ultimate power."
In Hades' eyes, as dark as ink, a glimmer of light flashed like a meteor. Faith! Law! Kingdom of God! All three were fully prepared.
In many small worlds, Hades had chosen a large number of pure women, but it was not simply because they were women. Rather, it was because their souls were the purest in that world, or more accurately, the purest in that era.
This was why Hades selected them: such pure souls were typically born from women. The reasoning was straightforward; men do not give birth to pure souls, only pure bodies.
Furthermore, such bodies, after being tempered by the flames of the Underworld, would form a flawless Underworld core. Accumulating enough of these cores would lead to...
In essence, the pure bodies born in each era had a profoundly transformative effect for Hades. If controlled well, they could bring him significant enhancement.
Of course, Hades no longer needed to explore each small world to find such pure souls. As time passed and the Underworld began to operate, it would absorb countless souls, directly extracting the purest ones and transforming them into Underworld Angels.
There was no need to elaborate on the Kingdom of God. The Underworld, created by the World Tree, was undoubtedly the most top-level kingdom of God.
As long as it gradually developed and prospered, it would provide Hades with the greatest feedback.
The final law, alongside the Law of Pluto, was now nearly perfected.
Faith! Law! Kingdom of God!
While these roots of three paths had only just begun for Hades, they served as the most solid foundations. If he proceeded step by step, the future looked promising.
"Ultimate power."
Hades murmured these two words. Although he had learned from Nyx that the ultimate power was entirely different for each Primordial god, it was clear to him that ultimate power was not the apex.
"Only."
"Ultimate power is still not the pinnacle."
"In terms of ultimate power, there exists a higher level of divine power."
Hades sat on the throne, whispering softly. Yes! Although Nyx hadn't said it outright, it was evident that ultimate power was merely a step along the path.
In reality, this was akin to a road that unfurled before him.
The paths of gods and humans were completely different.
For humans, the journey was one of microcosms.
Generally, the fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth senses represented the apex. Upon reaching these senses, if one walked the human path, they would comprehend the will of the universe, essentially, the power of Ω. However, if one chose the divine path...
This road split into two: the first was to comprehend the will of the gods, becoming a god with a human form, a new deity. The second path was to step into another realm, similar to Ω yet fundamentally distinct.
In simple terms, these two paths diverged significantly.
Ω is akin to a person realizing the power of the vast universe and becoming its controller.
The other path involves severing everything within oneself and embracing the root power of the universe.
It is named: The Ninth Sense!
