Chapter 47 - Human! Is The Darling Of Fate And The World

"Ω."

"Ninth sense."

"The will of the gods."

Hades whispered these three paths, the three ways a person can truly comprehend at the end of their journey.

At that moment, Hades seemed to sense something and said lightly, "Come in."

As the door opened, Hypnos stepped into the Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, knelt on one knee, and saluted, "Lord Hades!"

"Um."

Hades nodded indifferently.

Hypnos respectfully continued, "Master Hades, Zeus has just sent divine power. He hopes you can join him at the heart of the ocean to discuss matters. I collected this ray of divine power in Yellow Spring Hirazaka."

The Underworld had never been completely sealed off. To be precise, it was not truly blocked. The Underworld was once a fully sealed kingdom of God, but now it had transformed into the real Underworld.

Given this, it was naturally connected to the outside world. It was impossible for Poseidon, Zeus, or even Cronus to force their way in.

This was the root cause of the law.

Unless Hades opened the gates to the outside world, the Underworld would naturally absorb the souls of the deceased. There were subtle passages that allowed souls to enter, but to put it bluntly, sending in a ray of divine power was merely a way to signal that they needed to gather and discuss pressing matters.

Hades responded indifferently, "I see."

"Yes!" Hypnos stood up and waited beside him, not intending to leave.

Hades then asked, "Hypnos, how much do you know about ultimate power?"

"Um..." Hypnos was taken aback. After a moment of thought, he replied, "Master Hades, I don't know much about ultimate power, but the Mother Goddess once warned me not to attempt to control another's ultimate power. If you can comprehend ultimate power, it's a result of your own abilities. If you can't comprehend it, the ultimate power of others isn't truly yours."

Hades nodded slightly. It was clear, as Nyx had said, that while ultimate power was essentially the same, it differed greatly depending on the individual.

"But," Hypnos continued, "Father God once warned me that the core of ultimate power is actually the core of the gods. Remember not to confuse it with humanity."

As Hypnos pondered, he recalled Erebus' warning: "Don't mess with humans..."

Hades echoed these words softly, then asked, "Hypnos, how much do you know about the human path?"

Hypnos paused, feeling a bit dazed. To be honest, he had been a main god since birth, and under the guidance of his divine parents, he grew up to become the Titan Main God at a young age. He had never paid much attention to human abilities.

However, the next moment, Hades flicked his fingers, injecting a ray of divine power into Hypnos' body. Hypnos then saw three figures in elaborate fighting attire. They were clearly human yet radiated divine light, and they defeated him effortlessly.

"What... what is this?!" Hypnos exclaimed in shock.

Hades replied indifferently, "This is the power wielded by humans. Don't underestimate them. In the course of the world, humans are the darlings of fate. The power they can harness can easily surpass yours. Furthermore..."

With another flick, a ray of divine power struck Hypnos' forehead. This time, he witnessed an incredibly radiant figure battling a human. It seemed the figure sensed Hypnos watching, and their gaze halted everything.

"Saturn."

"The god of time."

"The ruler of all time and space."

"The God of Immortality."

Hades continued, "In terms of status, the only god who could be compared to this supreme god might be the super god of time, Kronos. There are rumors that the two gods were originally one, but as far as I know, they are not the same."

Hypnos was filled with disbelief. He had heard a bit about these two legends from his parents, but...

"Master Hades, is that human fighting this supreme super god?" he murmured.

"Indeed," Hades said lightly. "It's humanity, exerting their power to the extreme, accepting the small universes of everyone, absorbing the infinite universe, and forming the pinnacle of human strength. Although there remains a gap before the supreme super god, that gap has been minimized to an extraordinary degree."

"I see!" Hypnos immediately grasped the meaning behind the two images.

They may represent events from the future, stories unfolding in one of countless parallel universes. Lord Hades' message was clear: do not underestimate humans; their potential is boundless.

"Master Hades, I understand!" Hypnos knelt down on one knee respectfully. Hades remained silent, knowing that a good warning was necessary for one of his most outstanding twin gods. As for Thanatos, he would let his brother teach him at his own pace.

Hypnos stood up and said seriously, "In the teachings of the Mother Goddess, she once mentioned that the human path is divided into three paths: comprehend the will of the gods and become a god; master the power of the universe, termed Ω; and the third way is to cut off everything, integrating into the root of the universe to achieve the ninth sense."

"And," he added, "based on the visions you showed me, Master Hades, I deduce that gods who become the will of the gods are essentially the weakest. If one masters the power of Ω, they can evolve even further. As for whether there exists a path beyond the ninth sense, I truly do not know."
