Divine power dissipated.
That was all.
In a dramatic turn, this incomparable Titan king ended like this. Even if it was just a clone of the King of the Underworld, it was still shocking; it seemed extremely thrilling, yet in reality, it was surprisingly easy.
Hades quietly felt the endless divine power merging into his body. He knew it was merely a coincidence that everything aligned perfectly; a slight misstep could have led to a different outcome.
"This is the authority of Pluto..."
Hades closed his eyes tightly, feeling countless laws gradually being absorbed, the endless divine power penetrating throughout his being. In an instant, the blockade that had troubled him for an unknown period vanished.
It seemed the previous blockade no longer existed.
All of this happened too quickly. Hades had broken through from being a main god to the level of a Titan Main God. Most importantly, he sensed something entirely different.
Yet, that was just a whisper of change, a fleeting shift.
Slowly opening his eyes, Hades chose not to rush his comprehension of the handle of the Underworld King; he could return to the Underworld to study it further later. Now, there were other matters to address.
"Master Hades!"
As Hades opened his eyes, the 19 gods of the Underworld respectfully knelt on one knee, their eyes filled with reverence. It seemed they had a thousand words to say, but ultimately it condensed into one phrase: "Master Hades," which sufficed.
Hades replied lightly, "Return to the Underworld."
"Yes!"
The gods returned to the Underworld in an orderly manner through the open gates, while only the twin gods, Hypnos and Thanatos, remained.
Hypnos said respectfully, "Lord Hades, thank you for your gift. Just as you said, we should personally take revenge for the insults to Father God and Mother God."
Thanatos echoed, "Master Hades, thank you for your gift."
Hades responded indifferently, "It doesn't have to be like this."
Although those were just four simple words, it was not easy for Hades to say them. Knowing Hades's personality, expressing such sentiments was quite rare.
The twin gods smiled and knelt once more before standing and following behind Hades.
Hades felt the divine power surging within him. With mastery over the handle of the King of the Underworld, his divine power had easily broken through to the Titan Main God level. After the breakthrough, the influx of divine energy was overwhelming.
Only at this level could one truly comprehend how formidable Hades was! With the power of a main god, he could seal the heavens and earth, subduing even entities like the snake Perses and others of the Titan Main Divine Grade.
The facts proved that the King of Heaven and other gods were entirely different existences.
"Let's go."
"Yes!"
The twin gods followed Hades's lead, but at that moment, a black door appeared.
Without hesitation, Hades stepped through the door, accompanied by the twin gods.
As the three gods departed, the phantom of Tartarus emerged, saying with intrigue, "I never thought Cronus's Pluto avatar would exit like this. It's truly surprising! However, things are becoming more and more interesting! What will be the outcome of this Titan battle?"
Tartarus, who had long been in a dormant state, found himself increasingly engaged in this unfolding drama. Although he had no intention of participating, merely observing was quite enjoyable.
Upon arriving at Erebus and Nyx, Hades anticipated that these two Primordial gods would summon him again.
"Father God!"
"Mother God!"
The twin gods saluted respectfully, one hand touching their chests.
Erebus nodded, looking at Hades with admiration. "Hades, you are truly outstanding. You even defeated Cronus's clone in this manner and regained your authority. You must have grasped a trace of ultimate power."
"Good."
Hades nodded and said, "In the process of absorbing divine power from Father God through the Golden Apple, I assimilated a trace of ultimate power. However, the ultimate power is too profound for me to master completely."
Nyx interjected, "Hades, don't try to grasp that trace of ultimate power; it will do you no good."
Hades frowned slightly, not fully understanding her meaning.
Nyx continued, "With your strength, you should know this: the ultimate power is not static. It is the sublimation of divine power, and all Primordial gods experience it differently."
Hearing this, Hades understood; it was akin to a special technique of a certain school, ever-changing, with varying interpretations based on the practitioner's perspective. This was the essence of ultimate power.
After a moment of thought, Hades suddenly asked, "Is there any divine power above ultimate power?"
Erebus replied, "Hades, that's not something you should concern yourself with just yet. However, what you accomplished today is indeed remarkable."
Erebus changed the topic, praising Hades. He was also quite displeased with Cronus's mockery towards him and Nyx, and seeing his nineteen heirs defeat Cronus had been satisfying.
This further solidified Erebus's belief that Hades was a god who could achieve greatness.
