ANNA'S VIEW
Drake was 'kind enough' to set up the venue to meet her. I was lucky that she agreed to come here. I had to admit that she was a very flexible woman. She had no qualms about meeting me at the other end of town. It was rather odd that Drake chose this venue. It didn't matter. I knew what I had to do. I was a bit nervous about the whole thing, with butterflies rummaging through my belly. It felt silly to be like that, but I felt like my whole life depended on it since Drake had control of my relationship with my son.
I also wanted the man I love's approval, so that's the reason for me feeling this way. I was fortunate, however, that Drake was the main man at the station. Ever since yesterday, when he saw me with Drake, his attitude changed toward me, even giving me the entire day off. I was aware that Drake had a lot of clout in this town, but I didn't know it was enough to move mountains. I sighed as I waited in anticipation, waiting for Louise to show up.
