DRAKE'S VIEW
Anna met my gaze, with a bizarre look on her face. "Let me get this straight: you want me to invite Louise for tea? What the hell for?" She interrogated me.
"I told you, no questions. Are you in or out?" I asked her straight out.
"I will do it." She finally agreed. "Thank you, Anna; it means the world to me that you agreed to my strange request." I thanked her profusely. I didn't expect her to be pleased to be kept in the dark, but that's the way; I wanted it for now. Anna had to earn my trust. I needed to know that she wasn't the enemy, so she could have been apart of her child's life without me looking over my shoulder.
