DRAKE'S VIEW
"We are here. It won't be too long, and then we will know about this antique." I said to her after I parked the car. I could see the exhaustion in her face. She hadn't had any proper rest since the fiasco started with Drenmore in New York. "I pray this meeting won't be long. I really need my bed." She yawned before stretching her body.
"It's a good thing that I dragged you away from Colonel James then," I reminded.
"If you are saying that we were going to roam the streets, then you are wrong," she informed. "Wasn't he going to make you practice on your aim?"
"Yes, but he promised that we would only do an hour," she retaliated.
"And you trust him?"
"No, neither do I trust you," she said.
"Well, I don't know if this meeting is going to be short, but may I add that this is vital?" Life and death are important, I must add." I emphasised to her.
