ANNA'S VIEW
I coughed again. It caught the Colonel's attention once more. "Are you all right, my dear? He asked me. "It seems like you may be catching a cold," he observed.
"I think so too," I said, as I fake coughed again. "I am so sorry, my dear," he sympathized. "When did this start? You looked fine a minute ago," he noticed.
"I had the sniffles this morning, but I thought that it was nothing," I said.
"Well, my dear, I think that you should get it checked out. You shouldn't trivialize anything. There's a lot of deadly things going around," he advised.
"I am sure it could be nothing. I will just go and get some rest," I said.
"You should. It's for the best," he agreed.
"Thank you for your concern, Colonel." I smiled at him meekly. "It's a dam shame that I can't help you with your request," I said.
