It was another beautiful day. And the sun rose in Nathaniel's house. Nathaniel woke up earlier than before today ready to go to work. He was prepared to start work fully .
Nathaniel stood outside the door, where he locked Eleanor. His hand hovered over the doorknob. He had almost forgotten about Eleanor, locked in the room. Taking a big breath in, he turned the knob and pushed the door open.
Eleanor squinted her eyes as the door opened. She raised a hand to shield her eyes. Nathaniel walked over and pulled the curtains wide open. Sunlight poured into the room.
"How are you feeling?" he asked. His voice was steady.
Eleanor sat up slowly. Her eyes adjusted to the light. She looked tired. Her skin was pale and her hair was a mess.
"I... I'm sorry," she said weakly. "I've learned my lesson."
Nathaniel raised an eyebrow. "Have you?" he replied, looking doubtful.
