Chapter 1 - Chapter One

"Are you awake?"

A masculine voice echoed in the background, making Sabrina open her eyes fully. A soft gasp escaped from her lips as her eyes scanned the strange room, wondering where she was and how she ended up here.

"What the hell am I doing here?" She asked, her voice barely audible.

"Don't you remember what happened last night?" A cold voice questioned, followed by his footsteps.

She tried to remember what happened but couldn't. It felt as if her memory from last night was formatted. The last thing she remembered was the drink her boyfriend offered her the night she was supposed to tend to an important guest of the club she works for.

Slowly, her gaze moved down to her body. Even though she couldn't remember what happened last night, one thing was obvious; she spent the night with this stranger in front of her. But how did it happen?

"Why aren't you talking?" The voice she deemed disgusting questioned calmly without an ounce of guilt.

"I have nothing to talk about with you," Sabrina replied curtly before she climbed down from the bed. Without caring about the man's presence, she began dressing up.

There was nothing to hide away from him. Compared to other men, he was her first.

"If you don't have something to talk about, I do," the man's voice made her halt upon walking out of his suite. "You are the first woman to make my body react this way."

"What a flimsy excuse to make," she said calmly, hiding the feeling of shame lingering in her. "Let's pretend this never happened between us," she added, not understanding how she ended up in this man's bed with her sanity intact.

"Sabrina Kieran, I can't forget about last night. That was the beginning of our marriage."

His words made her mouth go agape. What kind of joke was he pulling up? There is no one who doesn't know her in this hotel; she is a stripper. An exclusive stripper.

"You must be joking, right? Because I don't remember getting married to a motherfucker like you!" She yelled at him, thinking he was trying to mock her.

This was how everyone treats her. She was nothing. An adopted daughter who didn't know her place. Even without a fortune-teller, she already knew her fate. She would be bound to the Kieran family until her last day.

She had always dreamed of living her life the way she wanted it. A loving husband and cute children by her side were all she wanted. But it was far from what a stripper like her could get.

Even though she tried her best to remain a virgin until last night, many people see her as no different from a prostitute who was trying to live a rich life like the real daughter of the Kieran family.

"You might not, but I did," the man was calm, not provoked by her words.

"But it didn't matter."

"Would it matter if I have another piece of evidence other than my words?"

The man's voice prompted her brow to raise. "What other evidence do you have?" She asked hastily, hiding her curiosity.

Even though no man would choose her as a bride, there was no way she could agree to marry the man in front of her. His aura is just too mysterious.

The man walked to the drawer by the bedside, took his phone, and then returned to Sabrina. He handed her the phone after pressing a few buttons.

"Holy shit..." A loud gasp escaped her lips as she began watching the video of her accepting the man's marriage proposal.

He wasn't the one who forced her; it was her. She wanted him to make her feel like a real woman. She couldn't hide her burning desire, urging the man to sleep with her. With the man being the kind who doesn't do anything for free, he decided to help her if she agreed to become his wife.

And gratefully, she signed the papers.

"This marriage isn't going to work between us because you exploited me," Sabrina said before leaving the room. She has to meet her boyfriend and explain things to him.

She had known Kelvin for ten years. He had not only been her boyfriend but the only person who treated her like a human being.

She hurried to room 105, which was on the hotel's third floor, where Kelvin always stays anytime he is in the city.

"He isn't around?" Sabrina asked herself as she arrived at the front of the room, which was opened. Since she knew how demanding Kelvin's work could be, he must have probably forgotten to lock his room.

She wanted to turn and leave, but the urge to see how her boyfriend's favorite room was prompted her to enter. Upon entering the main room, her heart shattered at what she heard.

"Sabrina is the most stupid girl I ever knew. I can't believe she didn't catch up on your intention when you gave her a glass of wine for the first time after knowing each other for almost a decade," a familiar voice echoed—the voice she used to know belongs to her younger sister, Alicia.

"I know, right? She is just our cash cow. I know that man could have been done with her by now. He offered us more than her worth," Kelvin's words made a single tear forcefully make its way to Sabrina's cheeks.

She couldn't believe the man she loved dearly could treat her this way. She could endure this treatment from anyone, but not Kelvin. The man she loved and relied on, believing he truly loves her.

"That rapist sure has good eyes. Sabrina was just the perfect candidate for his experience. Now, Kieran Holdings would be an international company. It would be next to my fiancé's—"

Unable to hold back the anger burning through her veins, Sabrina stormed into the room. Before Alicia or Kelvin could speak, she grabbed Alicia's hair, dragging it forcefully.
