Zephyrine couldn't stay calm after hearing those words from Alexandra. She wouldn't deny Alexandra's stunning beauty, but she never expected Kendrick to cheat on her.
Her eyes blazed with anger and suspicion, "Who is she?" Zephyrine demanded, her voice low and even. She was finding it hard to keep herself from saying exactly what she intended to say.
Alexandra leaned unto Kendrick more, and that was what got Zephyrine more annoyed. She hasn't even gotten the chance to greet him properly before this rat entered and disrupted the peace of everyone.
"No one," Kendrick's eyes were dismissive. He pushed Alexandra away slightly, but she refused to go away. She stayed glued to him and watched as Zephyrine nagged.
Kendrick's action was not evident to everyone in the room. No one? That was ridiculously unbelievable. A nobody would ever have the gut to hold you like that unless you have something special going on between you. Turns out this one is a cheat as well.
