Zephyrine's expression was a mix of pain and anger, Alexandra? She thought they left the previous house so that they could have all the time in the world to themselves. But she was even more disappointed to find out that Alexandra stepped into the house before she did. Her heart shattered into pieces.
She took a deep breath to calm the storm brewing in her mind.
Alexandra's smile didn't fade, her eyes lit up as she ran to Kendrick with an apron tied around her waist and neck. It looked like she was cooking for her man. If Zephyrine knew that she would have to endure this pain and embarrassment while married to him, she would never have agreed in the first place.

"Why are you cooking? We have the maids to do that." Kendrick didn't seem bothered about Alexandra being in the house. In fact it was like he didn't notice the change in Zephyrine's expression.
