Kendrick silently walked in like he didn't hear anything. It was time for Jasmyn to go. He needs some time with his angry bird.
Jasmyn and Zephyrine ceased laughing once they saw him in the ward. They both turned serious. Jasmyn hurriedly hugged her friend, she was the only one who could protect her. Jasmyn stared at Kendrick trying to read his expression, but he looked like he didn't hear anything.
But Jasmyn doubted it, what a good actor he is.
Kendrick, without batting an eye, went to Zephyrine's side. Zephyrine moved her eyes from his side to Jasmyn's side, she was trying to protect herself from getting heartbroken again. As much as she didn't want to believe Kendrick was that kind of man, she gets annoyed when she hears his voice now. His once sweet voice was not like venom to her.
She scoffed and shrugged her shoulders, "Jasmyn are you sleeping over?"
