Chapter 37 - Necromancer Ron

"Master can use these titles at will!"

"Oh?"

Link raised an eyebrow at this remark and instinctively said to Ron, "You can call me 'God of the Undead'!"

"Sure!"

Ron nodded eagerly. He was a rather carefree individual, and although Link's request was shrouded in mystery and uncertainty, he couldn't be bothered to ask questions. At that moment, his mind was solely focused on how to gain power!

In the next instant, Ron sat down on the ground, closed his eyes, and truly began to pray earnestly as Link had instructed! As Ron prayed, Link felt a mysterious force slowly flowing from Ron's body into his own, using his body as a bridge to extend into the entire realm of the undead!

Buzz...

With an invisible wave, the entire realm of the undead quickly absorbed and refined this power! At the same time, Link experienced a wonderfully peculiar sensation, as if the magical energy within him had become slightly more refined with the influx of this mysterious power! Not only that, but the undead creatures in the realm also seemed to have gained a slight boost in strength!

Though this change was subtle, Link was certain that both he and his realm of the undead had indeed grown stronger! This discovery filled Link with immense joy!

"Is this the power of faith? What a fascinating force!"

Link murmured to himself, realizing that the Great Eye Demon had not deceived him; the "power of faith" truly provided invaluable assistance!

Before long, Ron opened his eyes again and respectfully said to Link, "Young Master, I have contributed my faith. What should I do next to gain power?"

"Um…"

Link was momentarily at a loss and instinctively asked in his heart, "Great Eye Demon, what should we do next?"

"Of course, you must chant a spell and make a request to your master!" The voice of the Great Eye Demon echoed in Link's mind once more!

"What spell?" Link asked, puzzled. He remembered that when he cast spells, they were instantaneous and required no incantation!

As if anticipating Link's thoughts, the Great Eye Demon patiently explained, "Master, as the ruler of the realm of the undead, you do not need to chant spells to summon. However, your followers are different; they must first seek your permission to harness the power of the undead realm. Only with your consent can you bestow upon them the strength of the undead!"

"And the spell is simply a way for the followers to make their requests to you!"

"Ah, I see!"

Link suddenly understood and asked, "So what is this spell?"

"The spell is merely a means for the followers to express their requests to you, and you can freely compose it according to your preferences!" the Great Eye Demon replied.

"Really? I can just make it up?" Link's eyes lit up!

"Of course!" The Great Eye Demon confirmed.

"Ha ha, that's wonderful!"

Link grinned widely and then raised his head to instruct Ron, "Next, you just need to chant the spell to cast 'Summoning'!"

"Spell?"

Ron quickly asked, "Young Master, what is the content of this spell?"

"Well…"

Link looked at Ron and suddenly felt a surge of mischievous delight. He said, "Bala Bala Little Magic Fairy, La Ba La Ba, Transform!"

Pfft! Pfft!

Both Ron and the Great Eye Demon nearly spat out blood simultaneously, almost suffering internal injuries from the absurdity of the spell!

"Master, you can't be serious! Is this really the spell?"

Ron struggled to suppress the urge to give his young master a good scolding; the spell was just too ridiculous! What on earth was this nonsense?

"Of course!"

Link nodded with a strange smile and said nonchalantly, "If you don't believe it, you can give it a try!"

"Well… alright!"

Ron took a deep breath and, steeling himself, gritted his teeth to shout, "Bala Bala Little Magic Fairy, La Ba La Ba, Transform!"

Buzz...

In the next moment, an incredibly pure surge of magical energy flooded into Ron's body, rapidly coalescing in his mind into a magic core the size of a fingernail!

As he felt the magic filling his body, Ron was still trying to comprehend what was happening!

Then, a mysterious six-pointed star began to shimmer beneath his feet!

Crack!

The ground shattered, and a skeletal soldier trembled as it emerged from the center of the six-pointed star, appearing right beside Ron!

"This… it's real! I've truly become a summoner! Hahaha!"

Ron was initially stunned, but then he couldn't help but cheer loudly, tears of joy welling in his eyes!

"Thank you, Young Master! Thank you!"

"A Level 1 Summoner Apprentice? Not bad!"

Feeling the surge of magic within Ron, Link nodded in satisfaction!

"Congratulations, Master! Your first follower is now a bona fide 'Necromancer'!"
