Seven and Rolanda went to the learning hall the next day. It was the second day of their learning as Cat-type vanquishing students and the fourth day of their stay at Black Star University.
Seven wasn't finding it quite hard to adapt to the new environment due to having little experience with being in such a place. All through his two-year stays in his family's Vessel Breeding Base, he had learned how to mix around inconvenient environments.
However, Rolanda's case was different. She had been trying to mixup, but her wealthy personality kept hunting her down. As the daughter of one of the strongest and wealthiest Vanquishers, she had never known poverty all her life. Joining Black Star University was her choice, but it was simply because she saw herself as "useless."
No, her father's treatment due to the type of Vessel she vanquished had made her choose to be here. Now, she had to cheer herself up and get the best out of herself in the end.
Rolanda got to the learning hall before Seven... Whisky was crying of hunger so he had to settle him before moving to the class. He had decided to stop calling Whisky a "it" after noticing that Rolanda actually called her pet "she."
When he got to the learning hall, Miss Brie and Rolanda were already waiting.
"Uhh, I'm sorry for being late. My pet was hungry so..."
"Don't worry. I understand," Miss Brie smiled and said.
Seven had to give a positive nod and went over to sit close to Rolanda.
"Like I said yesterday, your Vessel would have to repeat the same training for a whole month to make sure that they are advanced in that particular aspect. But before that, I'd like to know your Vanquisher Skills. Not only your Vessels are going to be trained, but you as their master as well," Miss Brie explained.
Seven only nodded at her explanation, but in his mind, another sense of confusion had risen. He had gained three Skills just like Whisky, which meant that he would only have to disclose one to keep the secret from everyone.
While the lecturer spoke, he was busy figuring out which one to reveal.
"So, you first, Seven," Miss Brie called.
'Ahh shit!!! Why always me first?!'
Seven couldn't help but protest in his mind, but he was calm and behaved outside. He had no choice but to respect the order, so he had to respond.
"I got a skill named Refuge," he said.
"Have you used it before, or maybe just tested it to see how it works?" Miss Brie quickly asked.
"No."
Seven blinked severally.
Miss Brie nodded and turned to Rolanda right after.
"You?"
Rolanda appeared to be bold upon being asked...
"Dance Fighting," she said casually.
"Dance Fighting? A rare skill for female Vanquishers."
Miss Brie's eyes shone in amazement as if she was finding it hard to believe what Rolanda had just said.
"I will love to see you do that," with a smile on her face, Miss Brie stated.
They had to begin the [Sharpening] and [Rigidity] training before planning to do anything else. Miss Brie urged Seven to give Whisky some high motivation to dismantle a one-and-a-half-foot tall wall and three new thick leather-made bears.
Surprisingly, it only took a little longer than the previous performance for Whisky to achieve that, which only made the lecturer amazed.
Rolanda's Six-legged Jaguar didn't stop making a huge impact as well, as it was better at today's training than the previous day. Although it was still slowed down upon getting to the walls, it was quite better, unlike her debut training.
When they were both done, they went back to the learning hall with Miss Brie and were set for the next task. Miss Brie decided to help them in their personal skill training to improve them as well.
"In two weeks, you both will be making your first mission test, and you will be going to Sagemount City together with the Dog-type students. This mission is especially for you to gain as many Evo Units as you can and improve your skills," Miss Brie spoke.
"But why must we go with the Dog-type Vanquishers to Sagemount? Besides, I don't even know where Sagemount is," Seven inquired.
"We could probably do it on our own. Having to have them with us would only look like we are the weaklings," Rolanda glared slightly.
However, Miss Brie smirked at their protest and explained.
"I understand that you both want to show your potential, but going to Sagemount would only be too dangerous for just the both of you. There are only 8 Dog-type students, which is going to strengthen the group. Sure, you would have enough space to show yourselves there, but staying alone all through the mission might be bad, okay?" Miss Brie tried to convince them.
Seven came to discover that the Dog-type Vanquishers are the second most underrated figures in Terraverde. There was a slight similarity between the two Vessels, which had landed them in a miserable fate.
This was why there were only eight Dog-type students in a university recording over five thousand students.
It was certain.
Nonetheless, nothing could change the fact that the Cat-type Vanquishers are more miserable... For now, at least... But it was known that they had little to no hope in pursuit of success.
After a while, Miss Brie took the students into the field attached to the learning hall which they had explored before.
As usual, she just can't stop telling Seven to go first, urging him to begin the training.
"I will have to use my magical ability to train your Refuge skill. I have a C-rank Fire Magic, which I would be using. Well, your Refuge skill is already C-level, which matches my Magic Rank, so I will have to launch the attacks on its peak to see how long you can hold," Miss Brie said.
Although she had been stunned again, noticing that Seven's Refuge skill was already C-level, she had to stop being attacked by the amazement.
She had finally accepted the fact that her students were literally special figures and believed they could make a great impact at Black Star University.
When they were set for the training, Seven had to activate the Refuge skill, while Miss Brie launched great bashes of huge fireballs against him.
