Inside a large forest, a handsome black haired man covered in dried up blood stains was quietly rushing through the forest with a green bird flying just next to him. This was none other than Alex and abigale.
It's been about 20 minutes since they came out of the cave and was still trying to find some fruits. The reason they weren't looking for beasts was because even though abigale could eat meat, it still preferred fruits and Alex couldn't eat them because there were no fire to cook it.So hunting them would just be waste of time and energy.
It shouldn't have been a problem to find fruits, however, there were no fruits on plants at sight.Alex found this weird considering they were in a forest
Just when he was about to pass by a tree, he heard a sound and stopped in his tracks.
He looked towards direction where the noise came from and saw a brown monkey , the reason he hadn't noticed it previously was because the brown monkey was leaning on to the brown bark of the tree.
The brown monkey suddenly rushed towards him. But there was a something weird because, in his eyes, the monkey was moving at an incredibly slow pace.
Alex threw a punch towards the slowly approaching monkey's chest, quickly followed by another punch to the head, instantly killing it.
"Judging from its appearance, it should be around the 4th order, but why is it so weak"
In the early stages of cultivation, usually the beasts with lighter skin represented higher cultivation realm.But of course there are also some exceptions as well.
The system decided to answer this time

Alex quickly read through them and understood. But he was now to curious about the stats of other cultivators.

Alex was truly suprised at how vastly he was stronger than them even though he was in a lower cultivation realm.Only now did he truly understand how lucky he was to contract a fast creature like abigale.
"Well, guess we are done here" and just as he was about to continue his search for food, he suddenly remembered a story about forest a while back.
Which was that, the beasts usually lived around specific places that were either a good living habitat or it was guarding a treasure.
Alex looked around, not expecting to find anything, but it seemed like luck was on his side that day because on the tree that the brown monkey had been using to camouflage itself, there were round, red fruits dangling from the braches.
Since he couldn't get them on his own due them being to high for him to reach so he quickly told abigale to bring him some of those fruits.
Abigale brought some fruits down and gave them to Alex while keeping some for itself to satisfy it's hunger. Alex quickly devoured the fruits while eating the delicious fruit.
After eating the fruits, he suddenly remembered that there was another problem, which was that, he didn't have any water on him.
While contemplating where to find water, he suddenly realized something from the rumors he had heard when he was in the city.
"There are no treasure here, meaning that it was living here, not guarding a treasure, so there must he a water source somewhere around here."
Alex decided to head north from he was standing with abigale closely following him.
After walking for about 20 minutes, he decided to go back to the brown tree and try a different direction since there was no water in sight.
After walking for about 10 minutes, he slightly heard the sound of flowing water. He rushed towards the direction of sound and saw a small river.
He was finally relieved to find water at last. But he didn't approach the river immediately as he was cautious about the river that might contain sea beasts.
He found a nearby stone and threw it into the river. but there were no reactions from the river at all.
After confirming that there wasn't any danger, he slowly approached the river and drank some water, satisfying his thirst.
Now that he had successfully found food and water , he just needed to find a place which is close to the river and the brown fruit tree.
But the forest was too dense here to see anything clearly. So he had to look for a long period of time until he found a cave.
It was a small, well hidden cave that if he hadn't looked carefully, he wouldn't have noticied it at all.
There was a little white rabbit occuping the cave, but it quickly ran away as soon it saw that the intruder was a human.
Alex also didn't chase after it since that was a waste of energy.
He sat down on the floor and began cultivating. Abigale also came down and sat beside Alex, beginning to gather energy and cultivate as well.
After cultivating for about 2 hours, Alex opened his eyes and was suprised to see the beast cultivating beside him. This was the first time had seen beast's cultivating but he wasn't too shocked that beasts could cultivate as well,otherwise it would've been truly unfair if beasts could increase their cultivation while being lazy.
He found a comfortable position and drifted into dreamland, and so, his first day in the forest ended.
