Near a flowing river, a lone black haired young boy could be seen. This was none other than Alex.
This was his 2nd day in the forest, and he had come alone today because Abigale was close to breakthrough to the 4th order realm and he didn't want to disturb it.
Today, he had just come to drink some water from the river. There was also some leftover fruits from yesterday since he was unexpectedly full with just a couple of them.
Just as Alex finished drinking some water
[Abigale has successfully broken through to the 4th order realm! Increasing host's stats!]
Alex felt a rush of energy throughout his body.
It strengthened his body, although by an almost unnoticeable amount.
Alex speculated that the reason he hadn't felt this feeling at all when he first contracted abigale might have been because he was in too much pain to realize.
Alex was a bit curious about abigale's new stats and asked the system to bring it up.

Nearly all of his stats were increased by 1 point. Alex decided to go to return to the cave quickly.
Just then, a white rabbit suddenly jumped from the bushes. This wasn't the one inside the cave from yesterday as it had a gray horn growing out of it's forehead.
Alex was a bit suprised due to the sudden appearance of the horned rabbit and the rabbit took the opportunity to charge at him with it's horn pointing directly at him.
Alex tried to dodge but it still managed to graze him slightly.
Alex gritted his teeth and kept his focus on the rabbit. The rushed towards him once more, but Alex was unable to completely dodge this time as well.
Alex had realized that the rabbit only had this attack pattern and was thinking of how to kill it when he suddenly remembered that he hadn't tried out even a single skill yet.
The rabbit landed on the ground and rushed towards him again. Alex didn't try to dodge this time, and instead, he turned his hand into a chopping position and slashed towards the rabbit horizontally.
[Activated the skill 'wind slash']
A sharp, invicible wind current in the shape of a slash appeared from his hand and went towards the rabbit that was still in mid air, cleanly bisecting it into two parts.
" That was a close call"
Alex was panting, it was the first time he had fought against a beast that had a superior speed than him.
He got lucky this time as the rabbit only had a single attack pattern and it was easy to counter. But this won't always be the case because there are beasts having intelligence and capable of changing attack patterns at a moments notice.
Just as Alex was about to leave, he had an idea and picked up the upper part of the rabbit. Then, pulled out it's horn from it's forehead and hid it inside the rag he was wearing.
Then he continued walking towards the cave.
When he returned to the cave, Abigale was sleeping and Alex decided not to disturb his pet.
Alex went ahead and sat down on the floor. He was a bit under the pressure since even though he was the master, his pet was 2 realms above him.
He decided to increase the time he spent increasing his cultivation. With that in mind , he started cultivating.

The next day,
Alex could be seen standing outside the cave, a thoughtful expression on his face.
He was thinking of the power of the power wind slash. It instantly bisected the horned rabbit he was struggling against so much.
He was going to use the skill 'wind manipulation' to see it's effect.
He activated wind manipulation, but strangely, nothing happened. Alex was wondering If the skill was defective or something. Just then,

Alex was confused looking at this line of texts.
He couln't understand what this meant.
He still continued to use wind manipulation,but to no avail. So he just went back to cutivating inside the cave.
About 5 hours later,
Alex felt he was about to breakthrough and about 10 minutes later, he felt some kind of barrier breaking, with that Alex successfully steped into the 3rd order realm.
Alex felt his entire body was strengthen once more.And asked the system to show him his status.
