In the evening, inside a large forest,
A muscular young man wearing a black hat and some rags coud be seen jumping from tree to tree, beside him was a large green bird the size of a large rock.
This was none other than Alex and Abigale!
"I have already been here for more than 3 months now, I think it's about time I break through to the 9th order realm"
Alex thought outloud. He had already been here for 3 months and felt he close to breakthrough to the 9th order realm. Moreover, Abigale has also broken through to the 9th order realm
The reason for this rapid advance in cultivation was because of the density of spirit energy around him. It was more than 20 times dense than the spirit energy in the city!
Alex now had a question. Why weren't there more people in the forest? The sheer amount of spirit energy here could increase the average cultivation of cultivators by 1 or 2 levels. But he didn't liger on this question much as it didn't concern him the least.
Just as he was lost in thought, his senses which had been honed to a very high level tingled with danger.
He stopped himself from jumping to another tree. less than a second later, a black snake the that was about 1 m long and 50 cm wide appeared in his field vision, the reason he hadn't seen it previously was because the snake was hiding under the branch.
He swiftly took out a couple of small yellow horns and threw them towards the snake.
The snake looked at the approaching yellow horns with distain and avoided them easily. It looked towards Alex once more, but, it could no longer see Alex.
Just as it was wondering where that human had disappear to, a black horn suddenly pierced it's head.
Above the corpse of the black snake, Alex was standing there with a bored look on his face.
If it was 3 months before, it would have posed him a great challenge but now, it wouldn't even take a sweat to kill it.
He removed the black horn from the snake's body and put it inside his rag once more.
This snake should be around 9th order, but he was still able to defeat it effortlessly. This was the advantage of having higher stats. Speaking of which, he hadn't checked his status in a while now.

All of his stats has improved by more than 50 points from the last time he checked. After some rough calculations, the increase in his stats should have been around 30 or so, but because he had consumed those inferior grade fruits and because Abigale shared a part of it's stats with him, his stats were more than doubled that of an average cutivator in the 8th order realm.
However, it was truly unfortunate that he wasn't able to find anymore treasures like those inferior grade body vitalizing fruits
If he were to fight those kids from before, even if all of them came at once,he could take care of them without much of a problem. But he still decided aganist it since even if he took care of them, there parents were there.
He estimated that they might have a cultivation level around the 5th or 7th layer of foundation establishment realm.
Even if he got the help of abigale, victory was not guaranteed, so he decided to continue to strengthen himself within the forest after he broke through to the 9th order realm.
"I think I will breakthrough to the 9th order within next week"
Alex thought to himself and decided to call it a day. He found a large branch on a tree and decided to spend his day there.
The sun gradually set and the bright moon appeared in the night sky, making the stars in the background dim in comparison.
Alex silently stared at the moon. A lot has happened in the last few months, he went from being a 2nd order beggar to a 8th order cultivator living in a forest.
Even though being a 8th order cultivator wasn't a strong existance in black frost city, it wasn't weak either. The average cultivation level of black frost city was around 6th order realm at his age. Considering this, he was way above average compared to others in the same age group.
He wondered what the future and this so called 'beast master system' held for him, well, only time will tell.
He shook his head slightly, this was too much to think about, he would rather spend his time cultivating than thinking about something he had no control over.
He sat down with his legs crossed and began cultivating. It seems his abrupt movement had woken Aigale up from his sleep, but after seeing Alex cultivating, it also began cultivating as well.
And so, the night passed quietly with a man and a bird cultivating next to each other on a large branch.

The next day,
Alex decided it was better to cultivate instead of exploring today. He and Abigale took a quick snack, mainly consisting of the fruits they had gathered from the forest in the previously.
After finishing their quick snack they went back to cultivating.
And this would go on throught the day.

After about 10 hours later
Alex felt like he had hit some kind of barrier that was stopping him from breaking through. He tried to break it with all his will power and strength, but something unexpected happened. It broke very easily. He had heard many people reach thier first bottleneck at this stage but he was able to breakthrough it quite easily.
Just then, many words appeared in his eyes.
