Synopsis
In the dark and glamorous underworld of New York City's high society, where glitter hides deep shadows, reigned Gabino, a 22-year-old mobster. His purple skin and empty eyes reflected his contempt for the world, while the smoke from his cigarette mingled with the cold glow of his Glock. Gabino was a figure who inspired fear and admiration, always on the lookout, always calculating his next move. Ricky, a 17-year-old, tried to navigate the intricate webs of power and secrets that surrounded his life. Known for his bad boy reputation, he was an easy target for rumors. But when he is wrongly accused of assaulting a classmate, Ricky's world begins to crumble. Olivia, the victim's best friend, emerges as his only alibi, and at the same time, an escape from the chaos that threatens to consume him. As Ricky finds himself increasingly drawn to Olivia, the only glimmer of goodness in his turbulent universe, Gabino watches from the shadows, manipulating the fate of those who cross his path. He knows the dark secret that Ricky hides, a secret that could destroy everything. Gabino, with his cold and calculating gaze, knows that it is only a matter of time until everything is revealed. And when it does, it will be he, the unseen conductor of this symphony of chaos and destruction, who will decide the fate of Ricky and Olivia. What will happen when the truth comes out? When the veneer of high society crumbles, revealing the true face of its inhabitants? It is a long fall from the heights to the abyss, where every secret has a price and Gabino, the ruthless villain, is always ready to exact it.

Chapter 1 - 1

**Chapter 1**

The room was shrouded in dense darkness, where the dim light from the lamp barely managed to dispel the darkness that hung over them both. Gabino, the feared mafia boss, sat on the couch, looking at his mother with an impassive expression. His purple, almost supernatural skin contrasted with her fragility, which trembled under the weight of the situation. The Glock in his hand seemed to weigh a ton, its sight fixed on the face he had once loved.

"The day has come, mother," he said, his voice as cold as the metal he held. "The day has come when I promised I would kill you."

Her eyes, full of tears, met Gabino's. "I know, my son," she replied, her voice trembling, but filled with resigned calm.

"Where's your father?" Gabino asked, anger and pain evident in every word.

"He's in the hospital," his mother replied, sadness brimming in her voice. "After what happened, he didn't survive his injuries... he ended up dying."

"He deserved it," Gabino snapped, his contempt evident. "After what he did to me, he deserved to get hit in the skull with a wooden club."

A heavy silence hung between them, as Gabino fought against the storm of emotions that consumed him. "And you, mother? Are you ready to die?" The question came out as an icy whisper.

With tears streaming down her face, his mother knelt before him, the fragility of her figure contrasting with the brutality of the scene. "Yes, my son. I'm ready to pay for what I did to you." Her voice, despite the pain, sounded resigned. "You can do it, my son. I blame myself for this every day. End this suffering... and I'm sorry, my son. I hope that one day you can forgive me for what I did to you."

Gabino felt his hands trembling, the gun weighing as if it were made of lead. The world around him seemed to spin, his mind a whirlwind of memories and conflicting emotions. The trigger was there, within reach, and in an instant that seemed to drag on for an eternity, he pulled the trigger.

The sound of the shot echoed through the house, a boom that reverberated off the walls, sealing the fate of both of them, and the silence that followed was as deep as the darkness that enveloped their hearts. Gabino's story, marked by betrayal and mourning, began with an act of despair and a tragic conclusion, where the line between love and hate was blurred in a single shot.
